Auras are shades of colours generated and projected by you at different levels of your growth and development. Though auras change in shades to reflect the current situations in which you are in the overall trend colour remains broadly in line with the level of physical, mental and spiritual development you have achieved. This blog post explains the seven colours of aura and the related cosmics.

What is Aura?

Aura is a cosmic colour generated and projected by fields of energies located within you. Like smoke arising from fire auras arise from the cosmic energy fields in you. These energy fields relate to cosmic energies arising from your physical, mental and spiritual side. These fields are located in the base chakra, heart chakra and soul chakra respectively. Base chakra is just below the navel; heart chakra is on the left side of your chest and soul chakra is on the right side of the chest. Base chakra is red in colour, heart chakra is of yellow colour and soul chakra shines in blue colour. These colours are also known as basic colours as millions of derivative shades of colours can be generated by mixing these three base colours. Inside the human body these cosmic colours and the respective chakras work in combination to spawn seven types of auras in men. I am explaining the seven auras and profile the personality of men who carry each of these auras.

1. Red Aura

Red is a primary colour and represents the totality of physical energy. A person’s red aura could range from crimson red to spot red depending on the level of physical energies generated. Such people are driven by the mind frame known as Id popularised by Psychologist Sigmund Freud. This mind frame makes them to seek pleasure and avoid pains. Hence red aura is all about craving lifestyle. Based on desire and yearning to satisfy such desire men with red aura shape their internal and external dimensions on basic, animal or survival instincts. Fire as the predominant element props you all the time. Enthusiasm, ability, power and passion along with heightened sexuality are your hallmarks. On the flip side there is anger, rage, violence or don’t care attitude

2. Orange Aura

Orange is a derivative colour from the mixture of red and yellow; orange has the power and personality from red and knowledge and wisdom from yellow. It is a colour that balances yin and yang energy in a typical fashion. Physical warmth together with mental desire projects orange aura within your system. Your mind frame is Ego popularised by Sigmund Freud and your predominant element is water serving you as a floating personality. You are toasted as a result getter, serious business guy and a committed family man. Ironically your main energy relates to your sexuality, as a result you are extremely popular amongst the opposite sex a fact that can cut both ways like a knife. But on the downside, orange is full of contradictions. You get praise or blame the latter more from your own sex; consequently you blame others for your folly or fall

3. Yellow Aura

Yellow is a primary colour; it brings you to the pinnacle of the power of mind. Yellow has the quality of equalizing and collating many issues into a single plane. The colour acts as moderator, equalizer, eliminator and builder. It moderates sex and lust; equalizes your thoughts and actions; eliminates your depression; finally it builds up your energy. Yellow is generated by persons who have Superego mind frame as popularised by Sigmund Freud flying with air element. This makes you soar in thoughts and rational sentiments. You are rule minded and maintain standards and ethics. The negatives have terrible consequences: depression, sickness, swinging moods and rebellion

4. Green Aura

Green is a derivative colour from the mixture of yellow and blue; green has the luxury of power of mind from yellow and the expansive features of the colour blue including Inspiration , devotion, fidelity, friendship, trusts and confidence. Green aura is generated by persons who have their Superego mind frame working in conscious state of mind; besides their predominant element is earth. The aura can range from pale green to sophisticated and silhouetting sea- green or turquoise colour shades. Green embodies rejuvenation; represents peaceful mind; vibrant personality, luscious lifestyle. It represents material betterment and spiritual blessings. You always move in stable manner, calm and quiet believing in your work as a ritual. You continue improving your life in every step you take. The big drawback is green can also means inaction, letting opportunities pass, put it other way “No Show” when something is really needed

5. Blue Aura

Blue is a primary colour; blue is all about soul; it is an expansive and long standing colour too; features that besot blue are endless: transparency, trust, confidence Inspiration, devotion, fidelity, friendship, bond, sincerity and sophistication and more. If you have Superego working in cosmic conscious mind then you will project blue aura. Moreover, the aura ranges between sky- blue (Cyan) to spot blue. Constancy is your hallmark and you make every effort to bring cheer to lives of many whom you come across. A major cons is that you are always cheated by others and by the same token you always pardon them in the name of God

6. Purple Aura

Purple is a derivative colour from the mixture of red and blue; if it is bluer we call it Indigo and if it is redder we call it pink. Can red and blue ever be mixed? Because red is about aggressiveness and instability whereas blue is passiveness and stability. The world need to have both so we have this magnificent colour called purple. When your Superego is at prime condition and your cosmic conscious mind is at heightened state you project purple aura. Purple enables you to wade between secularism and spiritualism; you start to see the hidden knowledge. It can be a test or trap depending on your focus; if you succeed you move towards mysticism; if you are trapped you become an out and out clairvoyant

7. Violet Aura

Violet is a derivative colour from the mixture of red and sky- blue (Cyan); violet the coolest colour of all can read and understand hidden matters like a violet lamp. If you are a person with Superego functioning at the best and cosmic conscious mind at the highest point you generate violet aura. You are an embodiment of the Subtle; a blessed soul; man of infinity. You have perfect control of all your elements. You heal sickness, expel evil, bring forth peace, and energize everyone whom you touch or speak to. You answer the last stanza of the Poem “If” by Rudyard Kipling:

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

Or walk with kings – nor lose the common touch,

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,

If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,

Around 200 million people world wide celebrate Nowruz, the spring festival. Let us join them and celebrate the coming of spring into our homes. This blog post explains Nowruz in general terms and gives a check list of how you can celebrate Nowruz and starts improving your life.

What is Nowruz?

Nowruz is a festival to welcome the season of spring. Originally started in Persian traditions Nowruz is now celebrated by more than 200 million people globally. Earlier, Nowruz festivities commemorated the Sun moving from the Pisces constellation into the Aries constellation on the Vernal Equinox. However, in terms of astronomy today, Vernal Equinox or the movement of the Sun to the point of zero in celestial longitude and latitude is in the Pisces constellation and not in Aries constellation. This year the Vernal Equinox takes place at 17.32 UTC/GMT on Saturday 20 March 2010.

Generally known as the Persian New Year, Nowruz is celebrated in Persian and allied cultures for more than 5,000 years. Considering the fact that Nowruz is celebrated in more than 30 countries, United Nations has accorded its recognition to Nowruz as a holiday of cultural significance. Nowruz celebrations are seen primarily in Iran and countries in Central Asia such as Kurdistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Eastern Turkmenistan (Sinkiang) and Uzbekistan. In south Asia it is a noted festival in India, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kashmir. Turks, Kurds and Armenians join together to make Nowruz a memorable and national day in Turkey even though the Turkish Government does not officially recognize it. Syria, Armenia, Crimea, Georgia and other parts of Caucasus do have various cultural activities lined up for this day. People in Albania, Bosnia, Kosovo, Serbia and Macedonia in the Balkans also take part in festivities connected with Nowruz. Moreover, diasporas from Armenia and Iran living elsewhere continue their traditions of Nowruz. Followers of Zoroastrar and Bahaullah world wide mark Nowruz as a day of great religious significance. Nowruz is also a day of remembrance for Shiaite sects such as Alawites and Albanian Takkes.

Nowruz is spelt something like 21 ways because of this ethnic and cultural diversity. In Turkey it is Nevruz, Uighurs call it Noruz while Kurds call it Nuroj. Starting from the Vernal Equinox, festivities continue for 12 days and on the thirteenth day people go outdoors to complete the cycle of this annual event.

How can you take part in Nowruz?

The following are few recommendations for you to take part in celebrating the spring festival:

1. Generally you can spruce op your home by cleaning, clearing and arranging and may be giving a face lift. This sprucing is called as “spring cleaning “in the west; this is the time to bring zing into your lifestyle

2. You can buy new clothes for you and your family

3. Flowers and bouquets containing hyacinth and tulip are brought home at the beginning to enhance positive cosmics and for improving your life and that of your family

4. You can light bonfire in your front yard; traditionally this bonfire is lit on the Wednesday preceding the Vernal Equinox day

5. As Vernal Equinox arrives you can lay a table known as “Haft Sin”. Thereafter you can decorate the table with beautiful clothes spread over it and keep few items over the table. Originally there were seven items coinciding with the seven planets; later two more were added. You can select either seven items or nine items as you please; I have given the entire nine items along with the traditional Persian Nowruz names against each one in brackets:

5.1 Wheat or Barley sprouts in a dish, clay or metal pot (Sabzeh) – for rejuvenation;

5.2 Dried fruits of oleaster, or fig or similar tree (Senjed) – for love

5.3 Sweet pudding made form wheat or oats (Samanu) – for affluence

5.4 Few coins (Sekkeh) – for wealth

5.5 Apples (Sib) – for beauty and health

5.6 Garlic (Sir) – for medicine

5.7 Hyacinth plant (Sonbol) for growth and equanimity

5.8 Sumac or multi colour berries (Somaq) – for rainbow and sunrise

5.9 A bottle of Vinegar (Serkeh) – for age, maturity and patience

6. You can keep a fish bowl with golden or colourful fish within to give zest and variety. This bowl can be placed on the table or nearby it

7. Keep few watermelons as nothing is complete in this heated ambience until you have water melons and lot of these with you. We enact the Zoroastrian custom and practice of eating the reddish inner chunks of this great fruit

8. The festivities last for 12 days and end with an outing on the thirteenth day. The following are few items on the agenda:

8.1 On the first part of six days look outward by visiting elders and relations in your neighbourhoods; exchange gifts and presents with them; invite them to visit you and get the cosmics from the table you have laid for Nowruz. It is also worthy to note that the sixth day is the birthday of Zarathushthra known in the west as Zoroaster

8.2 On the second part of six days look inwards by concentrating on improving your life and lifestyle; Young un-married girls should tie grass in knots and tie it on the right wrist to get good husbands; young un-married men could keep honey or candy overnight to be collected on the following day to get beautiful wives. Businessmen could tie coins in a red cloth and hang it to foster business; hyacinth also helps to do the same

8.3 The ending of Nowruz is scheduled on the thirteenth days when your entire family can go out door to enjoy both inward and outward looking. Known as “Sizdah Bedar” meaning "thirteen outdoors” this outing arises from the ancient Persian tradition of twelve zodiacal constellations controlling 12 months in a calendar and anything outside could be calamitous or could bring bad luck; in order to avoid such eventualities you move away from your home. Therefore the entire family goes outdoors to fairly a distant place and spends the thirteenth day there

9. Throughout the 12 days you light an oil lamp at the time of sun down each day; the element of fire is ranked first in the seven elements ancient Persians believed in: fire, air, water, earth, plants, animals and humans.

But if you analyse your cosmics you get the answer straightaway. In this blog post, let me explain about stars and elements that can determine what kind of job, you can do better.

Stars

When you are born you come under the influence of a star. We use the word star as a collective noun comprising of stars, planets, deep sky objects such as nebulae and clusters. Your stars are traced depending on your time of birth, date of birth and place of birth. Some of the stars are listed below along with the type of jobs to go with them:

Aldebaran: Multi-dimensional jobs

Alnilam: High corporate, political, military offices

Algol: Nursing, teaching, counselling and similar jobs

Antares: High positions in armed forces, regulatory offices, supervisory offices

Deneb: Operational jobs in aviation, telecast, satellite transmission; sales manager in electronic goods especially fridges, washing machines etc; manager or assistant in poultry or bird farming

Magrez: Owner director in companies dealing in domestic or global trade

Mebsuta: Middle or higher level jobs in large multi-nationals

Menkar: Junior to middle positions in public sector, non-government sector, service organizations or senior level manager in disaster management

Merak: Member of special task force, SWAT group, CIA, FBI and related institutions

Regulus: Any high office of commanding nature.

Elements

There are five elements: Fire, Spirit, Air, Water and Earth. Out of these, spirit is a late entry; originally the Greek philosophy restricted the study of elements to the first four only. Spirit as an element was introduced by Hindu and later Arab traditions. Spirit is often considered as a complement to or limiting factor for the other four elements. One of these elements would be predominant in your system. Depending on this predominant element you have to choose your job; only then, you are improving your life. Here are few suggestions:

Fire: Any jobs which requires quick action rather than delayed thinking; for example an aircraft pilot; any positions that involve actions blended with leadership; for example senior management jobs in companies; any jobs where strong and assertive behaviour is required; for example customs officer

Spirit: Any jobs in organizations that have the character of what Ralph Nader is doing in terms of reforming society or country in the field of consumerism, environment, political transparency, social progress etc. Middle to senior management positions in technology companies is also a key job area. Founders of most venture capital businesses have spirit as their predominant element

Air: Jobs ranging from Junior to senior grades in companies engaged in designing, lifestyle, entertainment, leisure etc. Best suited jobs are in operational or marketing areas; nonetheless, other areas such as finance and administration could also fit fairly well

Water: If water is your predominant element then it is better that you remain self-employed. You can take into music, arts & crafts, acting career, American Idol, speech, drama and other aesthetic areas. Water can sway others by their speech and actions; that is why most artists and celebrities have water as their predominant element

Earth: In case earth is your predominant element, then you suit well in thankless jobs such as police officers or jobs that involve hard work such as administrators in public or private sectors. Tough job of any kind is ok for you. Furthermore, positions of authority in municipal or state sectors where you have to meet everyday emergency could also be rewarding.

You can easily check the state of your elements by examining your five fingers. The elements of Fire, Spirit, Air, Water and Earth find outlets through your fingers. In this blog post, I explain each of the elements and the fingers that represent the elements and their cosmics so that you can improve your lifestyle. I have also included a Grandma’s Test to check whether the element is in working order.

Introduction

Fingers in your right hand give out energy generated from your Base Chakra located in solar plexus just below your navel. Fire, Spirit, Air, Water and Earth are the elements generated from this Chakra. Though the human body as a whole represents the inter-play of these elements we need an easy way to check out the level and efficacy of the body elements. One way is to examine your fingers by caressing, fondling, touching or massaging. For this purpose we always use the right hand because right hand gives out energy to the ambience while the left hand receives energy from the ambience. The fingers and their respective energy are given below:

Thumb Finger: Fire

Index Finger: Spirit

Middle Finger: Air

Ring Finger: Water

Small Finger: Earth

Thumb Finger – Fire Element

Features: Fire is a good servant but a bad master. It intermingles in positive and negative nature; appears in constructive and destructive form; moves in slow or quick space. Fire can fluctuate heavily between the extremes. When fire is high your cylinders are firing faster and when it is down you are rendered in-active. You can have unlimited fire taking you to height of activity or lack of fire in your system jutting you as a burn-out. Fire will keep you warm in cold climate and explode in anger in hot climate.

Cosmics: Fire is all about quality of leadership, action, assertiveness, sexual potency and creativity. Your thumb finger is shortest of all fingers because you need fire in limited quality. In the Roman tradition thumbs-up is to give Yes, Appreciation, Greetings, Permission including freedom to the gladiator. Thumbs-down, on the other hand denotes No, Unhappiness, Anger, Disallowance including the order to kill the gladiator. Fire makes you an extrovert person, passionate in love and sex and a go-getter. On the flip side, fire drives you to lose your temper, puts your marriage on the rock, and in some cases shoves you towards criminality. You are well advised to keep the fire element in median or average point.

Grandma’s Test: Stir brandy with the thumb finger and give it to a women in labour; she would give birth much easily.

Index Finger – Spirit Element

Features: Spirit is not one of the classical elements in Greek tradition. But Hindu and later Arab traditions brought Spirit as an element to be considered. There are two key differences that keep Spirit unique compared with Fire, Air, Water and Earth elements. One is that, Spirit cannot stand on its own. It is often considered as a complement to or limiting factor for the other elements. Secondly, there is no median or average point in the level of spirit as in the case of other elements. Either you are low-spirited or high-spirited.

Cosmics: Zest, zing and kick are aspects that emanate from the Spirit. As you mature in age and experience Spirit gives you courage to sand –up against social ills, or stand-out as person of dignity, or bent religiously.

Grandma’s Test: During tragedy or bereavement, hold both your index fingers in an intertwining lock for few minutes to console and be spirited.

Middle Finger – Air Element

Features: Air like fire soars into extremes; either you are calm or stormy. Air can be bright and light or misty and dark; air can pervade in lower or higher atmosphere. According to Al-Biruni, the famous Arab astronomer air can take the form of wetness or dryness. Air can rejuvenate you or make you feel sick.

Cosmics: Air is about intelligence, analytics and intellectual reasoning, the art of designing, music & entertainment and everything that touches the human endeavour bordering on creativity as well as utility. You feel for others and wish to be part of their happiness and sorrow. At the same time you will not forget to sell your products, services or your importance. Mostly you feel humble, calm and collected. You are always on the side of freedom and humanity. A negative form of air whips you to “put up airs” and behave arrogantly. This element also gives you pretension. So much so that a weak person pretends to be strong; a thin person bloated; a boaster conning you around. A combination of fire with air spells doom in these instances.

Grandma’s Test: When someone is bragging about, tap a wooden table or chair with your middle finger in his presence; he will be brought to his sense.

Ring Finger – Water Element

Features: Water like fire and air goes into extremes; slow gush of water is desirable indeed, but when it turns out as a flood or Tsunami you have to find safe places. Water is on a quantum base. Unless it is in manageable quantum, water can be a disaster. Not only that, water can add value or neutralize the effects of other elements. For example, it nourishes the earth element and puts out the fire, but when it gets entangled with air it can lead to a cyclone. Unlike in the case of fire and air, excess water can remain in your body either as still, deep or stagnant water yielding mainly undesirable effects.

Cosmics: Water gives you emotions, sensitivity, sensuality, intuition and feeling of care and sympathy. You feel for others and go out of the way to help them. Water is about arts, crafts and aesthetic studies. Water can sway others by their speech and actions; that is why most artists and celebrities have water as their predominant element. Water gives you ability to listen to others but takes away the ability to adjust to others. The latter aspect is a key negative that causes lot of misunderstanding in the minds of others. Still, deep or stagnant water remaining within your system transforms you as an isolated person, preferring to stay out of trouble. You will have qualities such as risk aversion and violent mood swings; a party pooper or dreamer out of touch with reality.

Grandma’s Test: Cut an orange into two halves; run through the inner pulp with your ring finger; you will get more juice when you squeeze or put on a juicer.

Small Finger – Earth Element

Features: Earth is the base element; according to scriptures human being is created out of earth. Earth is an all-pervasive element. You build a structure with earth whether you include metal or wood. Earth can extinguish fire, face air with steadfastness and acts against water as bulwark. Unlike in the case of water, excess earth can be cut, quarried, pounded or pulverized for human use. Earth is for both utility and luxury; earth is what you feel safe when you are adrift in water or engulfed in fire or running away from air. Only earth provides you with safety and security, therefore it is considered as the most grounding element.

Cosmics: Earth grants you a sense of hard-work, perseverance, steadfastness and pragmatism. It guides you towards goals and objectives; it encourages you to implement plans to achieve higher lifestyle. Earth also makes you a person of responsibility and authority. You are a hard and smart worker. You can weather any storm, flood or fire. Your staying power is proverbial. But negatives are also too daunting: You are not sensitive to inner feelings. As a workaholic you take little interest in private affairs of your co-workers. You enjoy life and its pleasures and give a hoot to what others do. You are part of officialdom and that is it. Finally when you are to hang your boots there is none to give you a bouquet of flowers.

Grandma’s Test: When mixing jelly, stir with your small finger, it would crystallize better.
