Managing Time using System 8484

All of you have a significant issue to contend with. How to manage time? How to get the best from a twenty-four hour day? How to allocate the time between conflicting demands? All these questions continue to nag from a corporate leader down to a maths teacher. I am proposing System 8484 as a simple and straightforward solution. This blog posts explain the Time Management System 8484 and its cosmics. By implementing this system you can manage your time effectively. This could result in changes in your life style. Moreover, it would improve your business life as well as family life.

Introduction

Time Management System 8484 stands for the allocation of hours amongst Work, Maintenance, Rest & Service. Work is allocated 8 hours; Maintenance is given 4 hours; Rest is allowed 8 hours; finally Service is provided with 4 hours. All add to a 24 hour day. This system gets its name “System 8484” from the number hours allocated for each segment. You can draw up your routine on a weekly basis and list your activities and time taken under the four heads: Work, Maintenance, Rest & Service. As much as possible you stick to the routine. There may be instances when one head exceeds its allotted total hours; never mind. Once in a way, any system has to be stretched, amended or adjusted. In these circumstances try to come back to normal routine as soon as possible. Sometimes, there could be grey areas such as business travel. If you are travelling from home to work it cannot be treated under the “Work “head; but if you are travelling on duty during office hours it should be treated as part of work. You can develop your own categorization to treat each item. However, the broad System 8484 should be retained. Make it a point to review your Time Management System 8484 on a weekly basis.

Work 8 Hours

I use the word “Work” as something encompassing your main activity. In the case of a student study is equated to Work; in the case of a priest preaching and connected area is treated as Work; for a self-employed, everything he does in furthering his earnings is Work; in the case of a housewife managing a house is Work. At the same time, it does not mean that the housewife does the 8 hours at a stretch; it could be ordinarily staggered. Though Work generally implies activities during weekdays, it is not necessarily so. For a self-employed, there is no demarcation between weekdays and week-ends. Even for a salaried person, seminars and coaching can fill up the week-ends. However, many of you have your week-ends intact. If so it would be better to use the week-ends to attend on activities connected with your house and activities under Service 4 Hours explained later in this blog post.

Most of you do not put 8 hours work; this is because most part of your time is wasted; there are enough time-wasters; the latest is the endless meetings you attend. Unexpected visitors from outside or un-scheduled appointments springing up inside office are the next time waster. Fire fighting is the harrowing item, where your time is spent in managing issues and problems that crop up in due course. If you really put a solid 8 hours work then it is more than enough. If so, you do not need to carry the work to your home. A person who works late is generally not rewarded, but a person who comes to office early is always appreciated. Unless there is an emergency or the need to earn more money never go on board for working late. Remember a smart worker is better than a hard worker.

Maintenance 4 Hours

Under this head we have a range of activities. Once you have done a solid 8 hours of work it is necessary to maintain the system. As a student you are always reminded “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. Children who balance their studies and sports emerge as leaders. As a youth you are encouraged to work and study and engage in sports as well. When you reach middle ages, you are advised to work in office and do the work-outs in the gym. By the time you become a senior citizen you work little, stroll in the evening and turn to your spiritual side. Whatever you do and whatever the station and status you are in, keep in your mind that you have to maintain your body, mind and finally the soul. As you grow the attention paid for body maintenance gradually decreases; not only that, even the focus undergoes a change. In the beginning you are focussed to build up stamina and towards late life you concentrate on endurance against disease and disability. Likewise maintaining mind also goes a see-saw. As a child and during adolescence you have to study books to hone your mind skills; as you reach maturity it is observation, recollection and reflection that keep your mind alert. Then there is enjoyment of the body and mind: sex, dating, attending parties, entertainment, leisure all these are must for everyone in varying degree of course. Even then, soul is the missing link for many of you.

I suggest that you spend your Maintenance 4 Hours in physical work-outs, taking bath, clipping your nails, having hair-cut, trimming your body and looking after your physical body as if it is your spouse, that is give the best enjoyment in sex and pleasure. Thereafter, attend to your mind; spend time to relax the mind by doing a jigsaw puzzle or crossword puzzle or do few arithmetical calculations; if you cannot do any of these let your mind fly away to a distant land observing and recollecting all what your mind reads. Finally, I suggest that you start Yoga, Kabala, or Sufi Exercises that enhance your inner power and strength.

Rest 8 Hours

Rest is again all-inclusive word; it can mean sleep, rest or simply relaxing. Every person requires good sleep; children sleep for 11 to 12 hours; teens need about 9 to 10 hours which they hardly get; adults require about 7 to 8 hours which they neglect. At sleep your systems in the body continue to function. While it slows metabolism, heart-beat and blood-pressure, it continues its function of producing & releasing hormones and replacing body cells. In the case of children and teens it makes them grow, while in the case of adults it strengthens their systems. When you do not get the necessary sleep this function is impaired. You can reduce the sleep time only if you are able to take an afternoon siesta or can take rest in the day time. As a busy executive you may not get the necessary sleep at one stretch. No harm if you can compensate by catching up of the lost sleep hours. You must train yourself to relax in the middle of a heated discussion or under any stressful conditions.

If you are doing solid 8 hours work and solid 4 hours Maintenance, then it is easy for you to fall sleep, rest or relax as you please. If not, then you have troubles in getting the necessary rest. Listening to soft music or looking at natural scenes relaxes you more than any medication. Behaviour modification, called Be-Mod is another solution. On your own you can start scrutinizing your Work and Maintenance schedules and make the necessary amendments and adjustments.

Service 4 Hours

You will be wondering why I am using the word “Service”. Well service is something you do for others; it may be under a filial bond such as looking after the family and children or extending your heart by looking after people outside your family circles. Put it in other words it is your contribution to the family at home and society at large. On reaching her 100 th birthday the Queen Mother in England was asked how does she feel now? She gracefully replied saying that the God has given her life to do service unto others. If neglected, the areas of familial love and societal love would come to roost towards the end of your life.

Spend time with the children or with your spouse; have little time to fix the leaking pipe. Visit your mother or an elder. Do something for others: socializing is a must because you are a social animal; attending weddings and funerals is a social duty cast upon you. Joining in your colleague’s birthday party is another item in your agenda. Extending it little far, you remember the local priest asked you to attend to some work which you never did. Now is the time to complete this task. Participate in activities of a voluntary association in your area. If you cannot do these on a weekdays do it over the week-end. Whatever you do remember one point: None of the activities should give direct benefit to you and you alone.

The Cobra Pearl

Sammy looked at the slithering Cobra with his eyes wide open; it is moving so slowly; “may be on this grass land it cannot gather pace”, he thought for a while. Then he saw the cobra spitting out something red and shining, looked like a stone. Before he can get near the cobra swallowed the red stone back and meandered to a nearby bush. Greed started dancing in his minds; this stone may fetch a fabulous price.

Sammy is endowed with all the luxuries life can give him; but there is always grey area in his style of getting things done. He got married to Sylvia, his beautiful and smart wife after torpedoing her engagement to an innocent farmer. His rice mill, the only one in the town gets all the government contacts through unscrupulous means. He got admission for his son in a medical college after bribing the principal generously. Lastly, his daughter is in high school thanks to his political influence. Reaching 50 years, Sammy is bent on making the fast buck, wherever and whenever it is possible.

Sammy collected a huge stick and looked around. As he turned, he saw the aged cobra coming out of the bush. He aimed the stick and gave a thundering shot on the cobra’s hood. The Cobra raised its head, looked at him mournfully; the red stone dropped by as the cobra’s head fell to the ground. Sammy did not lose any moment. He picked the cobra’s body walked few yards ahead and threw it to the swamp. For the waiting crocodiles it just served as delicious dinner. Sammy returned to the spot where he killed the cobra; the red coloured shining cobra pearl looked much paler now. Sammy grabbed the stone at once. He experienced an eerie feeling; as he looked up, the shy was downcast and within moments massive thunder and lightning rattled him. One of the thunderbolt whizzed past him. Sammy got fright in him, the first time he ever got a fright.

As he reached home, Sammy kept the red cobra pearl inside his locker. He did not want to speak about it to his wife lest she asks too many questions. On the following day, first thing he did was to see the priest in the temple. He asked the priest about the nature of cobra and stones it possesses. The priest is a new comer to the town. He knows very little about Sammy and his modus operandi. “Cobras have pearls in their hoods, especially after they advance in stage” started the priest” it is called “Nagamani” paused the priest. “In the scriptures there are strict rules of getting cobra pearl. You cannot use any force, What is allowed is that you can use a blanket and chase the cobra around the area it haunts; generally the cobra gets confused and spit out the Nagamani and leaves the spot never to come back. The person who gets the Nagamani has to perform religious observance to purify the pearl under the guidance of a priest. Thereafter the priest will perform rituals invoking the blessings of the cobra pearl and place it in the house of the finder. Cosmics of a Cobra Pearl work for a person who gets this in lawful manner; the cobra pearl gives him fortune as well as piety; it protects him from evils and from poisonous reptiles; it is also a guarding stone from diseases, enemies and calamities. Whereas, a person who gets this via un-lawful manner, woe betide” exclaimed the priest.

When he returned home, Sammy went to his locker and took the red cobra pearl and kept on its palm. He saw on the surface of the shining pearl a sign of the cobra hood. Fear took over him and he dropped the pearl on to the ground. With shaky eyes, he picked up the pearl and observed that the cobra pearl is damaged after it was dropped; there are two punctures on the face of the pearl, something like two eyes. Things started to go wrong for Sammy quickly. He received a call from a colleague of his son saying that his son met with a motor accident and is currently warded in a hospital; the doctors have asked him not to move his fractured legs. His attorney has come home with bad news. His mill is being requisitioned by the Government for non-payment of taxes. More bad news was coming during the course of the week: his daughter has developed high fever and is isolated for further testing and examination. Mean while, his wife Sylvia is going through violent spasms of menopausal conditions.

Sammy has now decided; he wants to get rid of the cobra stone hidden in the closet. It is almost two weeks since he got hold of this cursed stone. So he went to the locker and took the cobra pearl. He looked on the face of the pearl to see whether there is any reflection of the hood. None was there. He kept it on the table and bent down to tie his shoe lace. At this moment the cobra pearl rolled down the table and fell sharp on his left forearm with the broken parts of the pearl touching his skin. That is it. Sammy felt a huge cobra sinking his fangs on him. Sammy gave a cry of pain and died instantly.

The post mortem gave the cause of death as cobra venom passing into his nervous system consequent to a bite. The signs of the fangs were visible and noted by the doctors. Sylvia managed to perform the funeral rights for Sammy sans her children but with the help of the priest, friends, relations and workers of the mill. The priest condoled with Sylvia and in passing mentioned that Sammy was talking about cobras few days back. Sylvia has lot of things in her hand to worry about it anyway. She has to grapple with sickness of her children and the state of the requisitioning of the mill. On top of all, she has to file a return of inventory of wealth of Sammy to the attorney to initiate court proceedings in order to finalize the last will left by Sammy.

As she was going through the inventory, she got this ugly looking stone with punctured marks. She put it in her hand bag. She wished to show it to the attorney and find what to do with it when she meets him. After discussing matters with the attorney she brought the subject of the stone with punctured marks. The attorney looked at it and said “This of no value; we cannot inventories it; you get rid of it quickly” advised the attorney. Sylvia also felt the same way. The stone looked ugly and damaged.

Sylvia sped her vehicle towards the estuary where the river and sea meets. She got down from the car; picked the cobra pearl; gathering all her strength she threw it towards the mouth of the estuary. The cobra pearl flew; Sylvia was astonished to see a huge cobra flying into the water. As the pearl touched the surface of the water waves rose high like in a tsunami; moments later it was silence and for Sylvia, she felt very much at ease now. As she tried to open the door of her car, her mobile rang. “Mum, I am OK “said her son “I am discharged and coming home”. Line busy signal flashed on the mobile. Now it is a message from the principal of the high school where her daughter attends. “Your daughter is out of danger” said the voice. Sylvia is happy after all her children are fine. One more call on mobile; this time it was her attorney ” Sylvia” beamed the attorney “ the Government is returning the mill they have requisitioned as it was due to some mistake regarding taxes due. Not only that the Government is also paying compensation for the loss of business “. “ Things are turning better” muttered Sylvia to herself as she drove the vehicle home.

Good Days for taking Bath, Shower or Swim

Not all days are same in terms of cosmics; some days are cold some are dry; still others can be moist. Depending on the day of the week a particular element comes into force. Taking a bath, shower or swim must take into account of the peculiarities of each day. This blog post helps you to do just that; it helps you change your life style and cosmics and improving your life too.

Brief

We begin from Sunday and work through the seven days. Each day is divided into two parts: Day & Night. Day begins from the Sunrise and ends with Sun down. Night begins from Sunset and ends on the following morning with the Sunup. The Seven Planets own different day and different night segments. I have followed the system of planet ownership as given by Abdul Rahman Mohammed bin Ahmad Al-Biruni (Al-Biruni), the famous Arab Astronomer.

Sunday

Day: Owned by the Sun Hot & Dry Planet. You should avoid taking bath or shower inside a closed place; no harm if you go for swim in morning hours in “open to the sky” areas such as pool, pond, river or sea. Those who suffer from skin ailments are recommended to be in bath-tub during morning hours.

Cosmics: You have a sense of reversal; computer guys call it “reverse engineering”; cure and cathartic effect; for senior citizens it may result in loss of energy

Night: Owned by Mercury, Moderately Cold & Dry planet. A shower is recommended.

Cosmics: You feel relieved of pain or stress but at the same time you see pulse and heart-beat going up. Typically body temperature is balanced; occasionally it could lead to imbalance.

Monday

Day: Owned by the Moon, Cold & Moist planet. Universally recommended as good day for taking bath, shower or swim; except for those who suffer from asthma or lung-related disorders and those who are born with their Moon in Cancer constellation.

Cosmics: You notice lightness and opalescence within you along with a feeling of elation.

Night: Owned by Jupiter, Moderately Warm & Moist planet. Bath, shower or swim within house or under a roof is recommended.

Cosmics: You get pleasantness in and around you along with soft, smooth and refreshed skin in your body.

Tuesday

Day: Owned by Mars, Very Hot & Dry planet. You should avoid taking bath, shower or swim inside house or outside. Those who are suffering from heat related disorders and those who come under evil spirits should opt for a bath or shower inside house under supervision.

Cosmics: You observe that heat generated inside you goes down initially and picks up afterwards; it can lead to dryness of skin and coarseness in speech. To balance, take fruits or fruit juice with sugar or honey after 30 minutes of bath or shower.

Night: Owned by Venus, Moderately Cold & Moist planet. Taking bath, shower or swim is very helpful to students, white colour workers who use brain rather than brawn. Specially recommended for women who suffer from female sexual dysfunction

Cosmics: You get a balming sense in your nerves and ripening of intellectual, artistic and sexual energy within.

Wednesday

Day: Owned by Mercury, Moderately Cold & Dry planet. It is customary to take bath, shower or swim in many cultures on this day. In Tamil there is a saying that “Even if you give gold you won’t get a Wednesday”. Students and adolescents must take a bath, shower or swim.

Cosmics: Relaxed with enthusiasm to do more of studies or work. An early morning bath or shower is preferred; for swimming it must be after 10.00 a.m.

Night: Owned by Saturn, Very Cold & Dry Planet. Shower or swim is recommended for those who go out in the evening on date or dancing or those who engage in work-out or sports; long distance travellers must take a shower or swim. In the case of women with dry skin suitable cream or lotion must be applied after shower or swim. Those who are suffering from catarrh or severe lung related disorders are recommended to daub wet towel over their body instead of shower or swim

Cosmics: slow burning heat with excessive dryness for people with heaty temperament; intense cold with moderate dryness for people with cold temperament.

Thursday

Day: Owned by Jupiter, Moderately Warm & Moist planet. Bath, shower or swim within house or “open to the sky” areas such as pool, pond, river or sea is generally recommended. Specially recommended for pregnant women, nursing women, convalescing patients or senior citizens. Those who intend to commence any business undertaking should take bath or shower in the early hours.

Cosmics: All round pleasantness, easiness, a sense of deja vous; feeling of smoothness inside and a sweet smell of success outside.

Night: Owned by the Sun Hot & Dry Planet. Take a bath, shower or swim after 9.00 p.m. Generally recommended for party-goers, those who engage in physical work, exercise or sports. Pregnant women, nursing mothers and convalescing patients should avoid wetting their bodies during night.

Cosmics: Feeling of satisfaction for those engage in physical work; for others it could lead to worn-out feeling, emptiness and loss of stamina.

Friday

Day: Owned by Venus, Moderately Cold & Moist planet. Both Hindu and Islamic cultures recommend taking bath or shower on Fridays. It is specifically recommended for women of all ages; for those who are in the spiritual path; and at the mundane level for those who had sexual relations. Celebrities and artists should splash cool and refreshing water over them.

Cosmics: Most refreshing; balming sense pervades in the body and mind; upliftment of intellectual and spiritual power; rise and satiation of Kundalini

Night: Owned by the Moon, Cold & Moist planet. Bath, shower or swim is recommended for those who study for an examination or engaged in the field of arts such as music and dancing. Bath inside a tub is recommended for those men who suffer from sexual deficiency such as erectional dysfunction. Asthmatic patients must avoid getting into water.

Cosmics: Inwardly penetrating; balances the energy of earth and water consequently you get a feeling of confidence and sexual maturity.

Saturday

Day: Owned by Saturn, Very Cold & Dry Planet. Bath, shower or swim is recommended for those who go out or engage in exercise or sports. Truants must be forced to take a shower at-least. Those who get criminal feeling inside their mind can get away from it by taking a swim in morning hours in “open to the sky” areas such as pool, pond, river or sea. Those who are experiencing financial or carer difficulties would derive benefit by taking a bath or shower inside house. Women who have given birth can take bath on alternate Saturdays after applying suitable oil or cream. Those who are suffering from catarrh or severe lung related disorders are recommended to take bath every Saturday.

Cosmics: Cold and dryness that is experienced in the beginning would be moderated towards the end resulting in a slow and steady rise of internal delight along with an energised body. To get the best of cosmics take bath, shower or swim before 11.00 a.m.

Night: Owned by Mars, Very Hot & Dry planet. You should avoid taking bath, shower or swim inside house or outside, unless you are fruit bat.

Cosmics: Leads to dryness of skin and coarseness in speech. Habitual bathers or swimmers of Saturday night get fevers, heat strokes, sharp and hot temperament resulting in imbalance in their systems. If you are compelled to take bath or swim then eat lot of fruits or fruit juice with sugar or honey after 30 minutes of bath or swim.

Cosmic Forecast: Iran Turning West

What is expected from Iran for the last three decades is going to happen; Iran is turning towards the West. The cosmic forecast of Iran indicates a big turning point that will change the entire area of Geopolitics. Most countries including United States would normalize relationship with Iran and stand to gain. Some countries headed by Germany would go down as losers. Let me explain in this blog post the Cosmic Forecast of Iran in terms of Astronomy, Cosmics and the list of Gainers and Losers.

Astronomy

I observed the sky of Tehran, Iran as the New Moon began its monthly journey on the Sunday 18 October, 2009 at 9.03 a.m. The Eastern Sky had five planets in the raw: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn. All these Planets are posited in the Virgo Constellation at this time. Incidentally, Al-Biruni, the famous Arab Astronomer identified major part of Persia (Now Iran) coming under the Virgo Constellation. The astro – position of the planets this time are given below:

Stars & Cosmics

1 The Star Spica (Alpha Virginis) the brightest star in the Virgo constellation was flanked by both the Sun and the Moon; Sun sights it on the south-west whereas the Moon sees it on the North. A blue binary star of 0.95 magnitude with a spectral class of B1 located 262 light years away, Spica is positioned on the wheat sheaf in the left hand of the ever green Virgin. This star is all about setting standards and maintaining discipline; it is about ethics and planned efforts; it is about norms and practices

2. The star Poorima (Gamma Virginis) a white colour star of 3.40 magnitude with a spectral class of F0 located 39 light years away is positioned on the waist of the ever green Virgin. Al-Biruni called it as a “ Turn”. This star signifies an about turn from the evil or dangerous path to good and beneficial path. The Planet Mercury sights this star on the north-west direction

3. The star Zaniah (Eta Virginis) a yellow star of 3.85 magnitude with a spectral class of A2 located 250 light years away is positioned on the left arm of the Virgin. It symbolizes amusement and enjoyment of life and its pleasures; Chinese treated the star as maintainer of Law. The Planet Venus sights this star on the south-east direction

4. The star Zavijaya (Beta Virginis ) a pale yellow star of 3.61 visual magnitude with a spectral class of F9 located 36 light years away is positioned on the top of the winged right shoulder of the ever green Virgin. It signifies the choice of a right teacher or master to lead one into the right path. The Planet Saturn sights this star on south-west direction.

Lunar Mansion & Cosmics

The new moon starts its journey from the Fourteenth Arabic Lunar Mansion (Manzil) of “Al-Simak” which means “Un-armed”.

This Manzil denotes the western direction, equal opportunity and a win-win situation. It beams powerful light onto the hitherto dark situation. Moreover, the Manzil indicates prudence, care and equanimity. As the name suggests there will be a farewell to arms. Iran becomes an accepted nuclear power, regional power and an anchor for peace and stability in the global scene.

Gainers

The Cosmic Forecast is set below; please note that, it does not take part overnight but over a period of time.

United States normalizes its relation with Iran, supplies nuclear fuel for its reactors, builds reactors and refineries and undertakes infra structure projects such as roads, railway, shipyards etc. USA supplies arms and advanced technology and becomes number one trading partner

Turkey follows suit in similar manner with emphasis on joint collaboration in infra-structure, buildings and military hardware along with commodity trading. It also becomes the key conduit for Iran’s gas and crude oil in several pipeline projects

France jumps the gun and offers nuclear reactors, advanced planes and radars etc. France also undertakes cultural, literary and sports training not to forget film, fashion and arts

Russia doubles its efforts to ink more deals on Oil & Gas. Russia is bent on “ Pipelinistan “ a concept linking Turkey, Iran, Central Asian Countries and Russia to join together for the supply of the region’s liquid assets to Far –East, Eastern- Europe , Caucasus and to Western – Europe and continue to close deals for its companies like “Gasprom”. Russia also supplies advanced war planes and military assets to establish Iran as a strong power in Persian Gulf. More than that Russia completes “ Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant“ and comes with couple more to generate much needed electricity

Syria goes deeper as the most trusted and tested partner and binds itself in cooperation in every economic and social activities

Brazil and Venezuela are cast in the role of making Iran a great trading partner for the Latin America. Bolivia and Nicaragua also joins the bandwagon

China gets more oil and goes up-beat in selling all the junk it has which is not wanted by the Americans now. In any case China always believes in soft power

Other gainers include Italy, Spain, India, Indonesia, Scandinavian and almost the entire Non-aligned group of countries.

Losers

Germany, the fellow Aryan Country gets the top slot amongst the losers. It sees its trade volume and share in the Iran cake dwindling in staggering speed

Israel is dubbed as the second best loser; neither it has nuclear one-manship in the Middle East nor it has monopoly clout to influence the future trends in the region

Britain goes to dog house be it David Cameron or Gordon Brown in the helms

Other laggards include most of the Arab countries except for Iraq, Lebanon and the Palestine.

Antares: Star of the Generals

Have you seen action in the battle field or engaged in political gerrymandering or in corporate brinkmanship? If yes you are one of the chosen few who have the sight and influence of the huge and bright star Antares. In this blog post, I examine the Star Antares in terms Astronomy and Cosmics and outline recommendations to improve your Life and Lifestyle.

Astronomy

The word Antares means “Like Ares” or “Rival to Ares”; as you know, Ares is the Greek god of war, whom the Romans called as Mars. Antares is located in the Scorpio constellation where it is the brightest star. Beaming in red and orange hue with a greenish tinge the star is the sixteenth brightest in the known sky. It has number of aliases: The Arab astronomers called it “Al-Qalb al-Aqrab” meaning the “heart of the Scorpio” as it is located in the middle of the Scorpio constellation. This led to the Latin name “Cor Scorpii” meaning the same. It is also known as “ Vespertilio” meaning “Bat” as it hovers in the ecliptical path like a bird.

Due to its metallic red colour, its location in the ecliptical path and its shining brightness, Antares is often confused for or compared with the Planet Mars. Antares is frequently occulted by the Moon; other Planets also sight the star as and when they sojourn in the Scorpio constellation. Mars conjuncts Antares once in two years.

This red super-giant astronomically known as “Alpha Scorpii” varies in brightness between 0.9 to 1.1 magnitude. It is a binary with a companion star much smaller than itself. Astronomers describe Antares as a semi-regular pulsating binary. It is classified as a red colour intermediate super giant luminous at times and less luminous at some other times which is written in astronomical short-hand as “M 1.5 Iab-Ib”. The companion star is blue-white and a main sequence star, which is written in astronomical short-hand as “B2.5 V”. Due to its pulsating nature and varying degree of brightness and due to the blue-white colour of its companion star mixing with its own metallic redness, Antares whimsically radiates in an unusual orange hue with a greenish tinge.

In addition to the companion, Antares has two aide-de camps as they say in the Military. It is flanked by two great stars: Sigma Scorpii in the north-west on the upper segment and Tau Scorpii in the south-east on the lower segment; both the stars are called by the Arab Astronomers as “Al-Niyat” , which means “The Arteries”. They had a logical reason to do so: since Antares is the heart of the Scorpio both Sigma and Tau Scorpii the two stars flanking the heart , should better be named as arteries. Antares the General, cannot be left with is the aid-de-camps only. A litany of soldiers has to stand guard the commander. So we have one of the brilliant star cluster M4 (Messier Object 4) Globular Cluster with about 50 stars within located half-way between Antares and Sigma Scorpii. The orange-red glowing super-giant Antares is at the bottom left; M4 globular cluster of stars is at the bottom right . The bright white-blue star Sigma Scorpii is on the top right of the picture.

Antares is located in Right Ascension (Celestial Longitude) 16 hour 29 minutes and 24 seconds and Declination (Celestial Latitude) 26 degree 25 minutes and 55 seconds south. Much cooler than the Sun it has surface temperature of 3,400 Kelvin. It is about 604 light years away and about 15 times the size of the Sun. It has 500,000 million miles diameter something like 800 times the Sun. To cap it all, Antares is 60,000 times luminous than the Sun. Antares is moving away from earth at a speed of 2 miles per second. Large and powerful stellar winds blow within Antares making huge red flairs and great sound of lashing. Sadly, Antares has finished its helium stock and is now losing its own mass; one day it will end its life as a great red star by transforming itself as a brilliant supernova.

Cosmics

Historically, Antares together with three other stars namely, Regulus, Fomalhaut and Aldebaran were considered as the Royal Stars of Persia about 3000 B.C. They were venerated as the four guardians of heaven: Regulus in north, Antares in west, Fomalhaut in South and Aldebaran in East. The Persian names went as Venant, Satevis, Hastorang and Tascheter respectively. These four stars not only acted as guardians but also marked the season as well. These were located approximately in 6 hours interval in the space roughly about 3 months marking the equinoxes and the solstices. The star also personifies the Arab warrior Anter who lived in the days before the Holy Prophet. This warrior was once a slave; when he was called upon to take part in battle he did so proving his valour resulting him being manumitted; he was also allowed to marry his sweetheart a lady of noble personage. In the Euphratean culture Antares is the Lord of the Steed. The star marks the Eighteenth Arabic Lunar Mansion (Manzil) “Al- Qalb” (The Heart ) which is generally considered as fortunate.

The following are Cosmics Highlights of the star Antares

1. It is just opposite of the Star Aldebaran located in the east, when Antares sets

Aldebaran rises and vice versa. Antares represented the Autumn Equinox in early times; today Antares can be seen at its highest point on June 22 every year

2. Antares has opposite directions. It is the star of bravery and at the same time of foolish and rash behaviour. Antares personifies a great general who can be deceived by a puny soldier; great military honour leading the person to bask in the glory and wither away later

3. Whoever born under the star would move towards west from their birth place

4. Antares grants you several positive cosmics: Courage & Determination; working against many odds to achieve your goals; amassing wealth from spoils of war or victory in ventures such as corporate raiding; fortune, eminence and action orientation; fight for social causes like liberty, equality and fraternity in the style of French revolutionaries; lot of energy flowing from the Base Chakra (Nafs in Arabic); the energy flows of Fire, Spirit, Air, Water and Earth would be finely balanced at the beginning but would go haywire as you grow older; magnanimity trimmed with selfishness is your hallmark

5. Negative cosmics abound: rash behaviour; insubordination; rebelling against the establishment; sowing discord amongst the rank and file especially in the army corps; arrogance & over-confidence; slip of the tongue and not fault of the brain; often betrayed by own confidante’s ; wisdom taking back-seat ; success savoured in ventures dissipates if level head does not prevail

6. The Arabic Lunar Manzil Al-Qalb makes you a high-spirited person with huge fire energy along with the sound of fury; you will rise like a meteor unless heavens forbid you will fall like Napoleon Bonaparte. This Manzil is favourable for those who engage in war or fight for a worthy cause; on the fillip side this Manzil encourages rebellion, sedition and insubordination.

Lifestyle

The following are few of the recommendations for improving your life:

1. If Antares is your birth star, join the army or get into army related business activity. Often wear strong shade colours but not black; drink lot of water and eat red meat. Never get drunk; but lot of sex

2. If Antares is your Lucky star sighted by Mars follow the above recommendation with some modifications to suit your temperament and chemistry

3. If Antares is your rising star get into politics straightaway

4. If Antares is your culminating star it is better for you to get a job in the Government service where your function is to regulate people, commerce & industry

5. Women born under the star are susceptible to pregnancy related problems

6. Recommended gems include: Carnelian, Amethyst and Onyx.

Find out Your Constellation

Your ruling constellation is the one where the Moon is located at the time of your birth. This can be easily found by an astronomical sky map at the time of your birth. If you are not sure you can contact an astronomer to trace the Moon at the time of your birth. The Moon traverses to about 18 constellations in its ecliptic journey. The Astronomical Institute of Utrecht University in Germany has calculated the average number of days out of 1000 days the moon is posited in a particular constellation. In addition to the Twelve Zodiacal Constellations, the Moon also visits Five Non-Zodiacal Constellations. Moreover, the Moon also touches the Corvus (Crow) constellation seldom that I have ignored this constellation. It must be noted that more than 50 percent of the world population are born under Six Constellations namely, Taurus, Leo, Virgo, Sagittarius, Aquarius and Pisces.

I am detailing the Seventeen Constellations, the average number of days the Moon stays there out of 1000 days and the cosmics of the Seventeen Constellations to enable you to improve your life and lifestyle.

Zodiacal Constellations

1. Aries

Moon’s Journey : 58 days

Positive Cosmics: leadership quality, action orientation, sportsmanship, accepting defeat and try again, take challenge & responsibility, help others etc.

Negative Cosmics: Prone to anger and flare-up, impulsive nature, stubbornness and insensitivity etc.

2. Taurus

Moon’s Journey : 96 days

Positive Cosmics: Tenacity mixed with patience & hard work; mix business with pleasure especially with the opposite sex, a well-to-do and lavish lifestyle etc .

Negative Cosmics: Fiery nature; imbalance of cosmic energy of Leo and Virgo; tempers and carelessness go together; has less feeling for others etc.

16. Orion

Moon’s Journey : 8 days.

Positive Cosmics: Tall and majestic; Man for all seasons; keen eye-sight along with skills in hand or footwork, boxers or karate sportsman; dignified person excellence in buying and selling etc.

Negative Cosmics: Victim of childhood tragedy or parental divorce; always dependent on women; over-confidence leading towards arrogance or in-subordination etc.

The Saint and the Sinner

Under the scorching sun the saint struggled to keep his pace of walking on the rugged terrain. Old and haggard, the saint felt the earth under his feet so hard and dry that it is difficult for him to move forward. Besides, he is feeling very thirsty; overhead the Sun is not kind towards him; he visualized that his end is near; death is around the corner; if only he can have little water……..

The saint kept on trying to bring his feet together; he saw some vegetation ahead. He tried to keep his drooping head straight and straddled few more steps. Then he realized that he is passing fairly green ambience. He decided to rest and looked for water to quench his thirst. The saint saw a man walking towards where he sat with a water pitcher on his shoulder. “What a boon” he thought “the God has been so kind “. He greeted the man carrying the water pitcher and asked him to give little water. The man readily agreed; poured water into a cup and offered it to the saint.

At this moment, the saint glanced on the face of the man; his cosmics immediately struck the saint. With a sense of revulsion, the saint spurned the helping hand of the man. “You have murdered so many people, raped so many women, plundered belongings of many; how can I accept water from you at my dying moment; you are an out and out sinner; I rather pass away with unquenched thirst rather than drinking water out of scoundrel like you “moaned the saint.

On hearing this lament, the sinner started crying. “Oh saint, have mercy upon me; it is true that I am a sinner and all what you said about me was nothing but truth; still my heart is paining for you; you must not reach the God with thirst on your tongue; please take this cup; I beg you. May the good Lord forgive you for drinking water from a sinner like me at your last breath” pleaded the sinner.

The plea of the sinner moved the saint; he took the cup and drank the water contentedly. As he finished drinking water he saw angels descending; he felt cooling breeze surrounding him; sweet smell pervading in the air. “The God is making my last moment on earth pleasurable indeed” is the thought that crossed his mind. Feeling a sense of peace and serenity the saint turned to the sinner to thank him for his help.

Alas! The sinner has already fallen dead with a cute smile on his face. The angels headed by archangel carried the soul of the sinner in a long procession. Stunned, the saint looked up to the heavens. The God spoke to the saint: “Oh Saint, you have given salvation to one of my creation. I extend your life span. Go forth, and bring many of my creations to the path of truth. I wish every one of my creation receives salvation before his end”.

After receiving the God’s command the saint continues his mission till today.

What are your Stars?

Everyone is born under a Star. This star is generally called as “birth star”. The birth star can be one of great significance in the sky bringing you favourable cosmics all the way or just a minor star of little consequence. In the latter case you can check for other stars to guide you. In this blog post I explain how you should look for your stars so that you can improve your lifestyle.

1. Birth Star

Birth Star is found from the location of the Moon in the sky map at the time of your birth. Most of the time, the Moon would be sighting a celestial object, which can be a Star, Planet, Cluster or Nebulae; the last two are referred to as Deep Sky Objects (DSO). For easy convenience we use the word Star, and call this as “Birth Star”. Once you have identified the birth star you can check whether the star is indeed your lucky one bringing you favourable cosmics. You can get a primer on this subject by reading two of my blog posts:

If the star identified by you is indeed the lucky one you can stop forthwith and adopt the star as your “Birth Star”. If not proceed to item Two “Lucky Star” below.

2. Lucky Star

You can check the sky map for location of planets other than the Moon in the following order: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus and Mercury. Here there is a restriction; these planets can only sight a fixed star and not other celestial objects such as other planet, cluster or nebulae.

Once a star is identified, you stop forthwith and adopt the star as your “Lucky Star”. If not proceed to item Three “Rising Star” below.

3. Rising Star

You can check the sky map for the star that was rising at the time of your birth. Once a star is identified, you stop forthwith and adopt the star as your “Rising Star”. If not proceed to item Four “Culminating Star”.

4. Culminating Star

You can check the sky map for the star that was culminating at the time of your birth. Culmination means a star crossing your local meridian. Once the culminating star is identified you stop forthwith and adopt the star as your “Culminating Star”.

These are easy steps for you to find out your stars; in case of difficulty you can get in touch with an astronomer in your area to guide you in this regard. If you are born in locations above 33 degree north in latitude or below 33 degree south in latitude, you should check for stars that never rise or set for your locations.

Once you are thorough with this exercise you can even adopt all the four type of stars: Birth Star, Lucky Star, Rising Star and Culminating Star. Until then you satisfy with a single one.

Understanding Penis

Penis is referred to as “Lingam” in Sanskrit “Phallus” in Greek and “Fard” in Arabic. The important analysis of the Penis is to determine its size. The size consists of three sub-topics: Length, Girth (thickness), and Shape. Normally penis length ranges between 3 to 9 inches on erection. Understanding Vagina

Referred to as “Yoni” in Sanskrit, Vagina is a sacred and secret part of a woman’s body. The type of vagina is determined on the basis of cosmics that cover both body elements and the features surrounding vagina. There are five body elements: Fire, Spirit, Air, Water and Earth. The features cover three aspects: Opening, Passage and the Base. Opening can be soft or tight; Passage can be wide or narrow; Base can be deep or shallow.

On the basis of body elements and vagina features we have twelve types of vagina. These types are named after animals, a reptile and a rodent. The twelve types of vagina are: Elephant, Camel, Horse, Tiger, Ox, Dog, Deer, Cat, Snake, Monkey, Hare and Rat. As vagina is hidden and most part of it is inside the body of a woman, it cannot be measured or analyzed. Hence, type of vagina is arrived by an indirect method. There are two methods:

1. Firstly study a woman’s birth characteristics to find out the body elements: Fire, Spirit, Air, Water and Earth so that you can reasonably determine the type of vagina. This is done by understanding the relationship between the Planet Moon with a woman. You have to find out where the Moon was placed in the sky at the time of her birth. I consider, Lunation Cycle, Moon Mansions known in Arabic as” Manzils”, and the Constellation in which the Moon is located at the time of her birth for this purpose

2. Secondly study the woman’s physiognomy; this part is known as “Samudhrika Lakshana” in Sanskrit and “Alamth” in Arabic. This study would lead to the understanding of vagina features of Opening, Passage and Base so that you can easily determine the type of vagina. It would be better to study static physiognomy such as the hip and dynamic physiognomy such as the manner of walking. I analyse a full length picture of a woman when she is not personally present.

The Six Chakras in your Body

You walk into a new supermarket in search of a can of caviar. Within few seconds you are guided to the shelf close to the rack where it is stacked; neither had you read any display nor you asked an assistant to find it for you. How this happened? Is it Intuition, intelligence, experience or an uncanny habit you possess that made this possible? You did it because your chakras in your body are working in perfect harmony. There are Six Chakras in your body. Let me give a broad brush stroke of the Six Chakras, their cosmics and how they influence your lifestyle.

1. Base Chakra

This Chakra is known as “Nafs” in Arabic and is located in solar plexus just below your navel. This chakra takes the form of five pointed star or pentagram. This is the only chakra in the body that is stationary. Beaming in red colour the chakra ranges between crimson to blood red. It generates five types of energy via each point of the pentagram: Fire, Spirit, Air, Water and Earth. Fire spews out up from the base chakra onto your right side torso to activate your cylinders of action. Fire also engulfs the Soul Chakra located on your right side of your chest. Spirit from the centre of the pentagon is sprayed directly upward to make you spirited in a given circumstance. Spirit also encompasses the Middle located in the middle of your Chest. Air is pumped from the base chakra to the left side of your torso to fashion your thought process. Air also surrounds the Mind chakra located in the left side of your chest. Water gushes down from the base chakra towards the left leg to give you liquidity. Water also inundates the left hip, which is the junction of sexual power. Finally, Earth falls from the base chakra to the right leg to give you solidity. Earth also covers the right hip, which is the junction of physical prowess.

Cosmics

This chakra symbolizes the Arabic and Hebrew alphabet of “Hei”. The chakra’s red colour gives you stimulus in life, sports or business. However, your vibrations are related to body only, thinking part takes back seat. Although red protects you and nourishes you it cannot balance itself. Red leads to heightened activity, without cosmic balance. If the base chakra is working in harmony and well proportioned you become an active, successful and practical person enjoying both family life and business life. 2. Mind Chakra

This chakra is known as ““Qalb” in Arabic, is located on your left side of your chest. The chakra takes the form of eight pointed star or octagram. Hence this chakra is the most fluid ones amongst the six chakras. Though the chakra flashes yellow as the base colour, the cosmics range between light yellow to beige colour on the negative side and magenta to violet on the positive side. The chakra has command over your entire thought process.

This chakra symbolizes the Arabic alphabet “Hay” (un-stressed H) and Hebrew alphabet Chet. This chakra denotes all functions of forming, analysing, joining, dissecting and synthesizing. The chakra’s yellow colour generates positive and negative vibrations in same wavelength. That is why yellow is called “the great equalizer”. If the Soul chakra is working in harmony then: it makes you think positively; it moderates sex and lust; it equalizes your thoughts and actions; it eliminates your depression; finally it builds up your steadfastness and energy. More than that, it gives you ability to think fast and find your way out fast. If the Mind chakra is not in harmony you are prone to wilful actions, negative thoughts, wavering quality, criminality, evasive behaviour, emotional flare-up, indecisiveness and chronic depressions.

3. Soul Chakra

This chakra is known as ““Ruh” in Arabic, is located on your right side of your chest. The chakra takes the form of nine pointed star or ennegram. This star rotates anti clock wise. Even though the base colour of the chakra is blue, it generates cosmics in combination of colour rays including the ones in the rainbow. Mostly these cosmic rays could take the shades of green, sea-green, turquoise, sky-blue to dark blue. These cosmics are targeted towards the Mind chakra to the left chest and are in-visible. From the birth till his death, a person receives trillions of cosmic colour darts from the soul chakra.

This chakra symbolizes the Arabic alphabet “The” (Unstressed T) and Hebrew alphabet Tet. The chakra’s blue colour represents Inspiration, devotion, fidelity, friendship, trusts and confidence, aspects that keep human race moving forward. Appreciating beauty, wisdom, faithfulness, intuition and intelligence are other aspects. If the Soul chakra is working in harmony and its cosmics are well received by the Mind chakra you are in perfect control of your body, mind and soul. If the soul chakra is not in harmony it leads you to a soul- less person, fearful, fretful and a person unworthy of love and friendship. Sometimes you may turn out to be a cruel despot.

4. Middle Chakra

This Chakra is known as “Sirru” in Arabic meaning “mystery” and is located in the middle of the chest just above the straight line between Soul and Mind chakras. This chakra takes the form of six pointed star or hexagram. It is pure white in colour and rotates clockwise in a slow pace. This is the slowest amongst the rotating chakra. This chakra is the only one communicating with the divine world receiving and sending communication. In the Euphrates culture it was equated to the zodiacal sign Cancer which functioned as the gateway for the souls to enter this world. The middle chakra is a straight-forward one like a vertical line; it divides everything into two compartments: right and wrong; truth and un-truth; black and white.

Cosmics

This chakra symbolizes the Arabic and Hebrew alphabet “Vav”. This chakra denotes a gateway or a junction where the commands received from the heaven are being channelized to other chakras in the body. The beginning, sustaining and ending of a person’s life span is indicated here. If the chakra is working in harmony then you are an angel donning the human clothes: you have the spiritual and worldly wisdom in thoughts and action. You have perfect balance and a knack of timing. You always move up in the ladder and take many others along with you in financial and family progress not to mention inner satisfaction. 5. Forehead Chakra

This chakra is known as “Aqfa” in Arabic meaning ‘Veiled” and is located on your fore-head between your both eyes. The chakra takes the form of twelve pointed star or dodegram. This star rotates clock wise faster than the Middle chakra. At the same time it flashes one of the twelve cosmic colours namely: red, orange, yellow, green, sea-green, turquoise, sky-blue, blue, purple, magenta, violet and white. This chakra shines brighter than other chakras and has the power to magnetize, mesmerize, dazzle or burn anyone who comes into his presence. The energy generated takes the form of electrical, magnetic and telepathic energy that cannot be properly recorded or verified by any scientific equipment.

Cosmics

If this chakra is in harmony you are a charismatic person with inner calmness and outer composure. People are drawn to you for advice and assistance. Once it is opened it never shuts until the person’s demise. These points in the star are known as “Leelah” in Hinduism, “Lailah” in Hebrew, and “Noor” in Arabic; these points denote the level of spiritual status achieved by a person. Those who have their chakras opened go as “Rishis” in Hinduism and as “Saints “in Christianity & Islam. This chakra is beyond human analysis and we can safely leave it to the will of the God Almighty.
