Leonids: Have you got a Lion in you?

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

Lion, the king of the jungle has sprawled over you. Right away it resides in your mind and in your body; in your thoughts, speech, mannerism, conduct and the way you respond to both adversity and opportunity. How the Lion got into you? It is simple; if you are born during the Leonid Meteor Showers, the Lion creeps into your system. In this blog post I explain about the Leonid Meteor Showers in general, how you got the Lion in you and names of personalities who are impacted like you.

1. Leonids Meteor Showers

You have heard about meteor showers or shooting stars or falling stars, or simply meteors. There are millions of these shooting stars seen throughout the year. When you look at the night sky generally after mid-night you will observe streaks of light flicking away in the sky for a second or two. What you see is not a physical matter, because most of these meteors are so small to be seen from the earth, but the atmospheric reaction when these fast moving meteors hit at the earth’s atmosphere resulting in a friction between the air molecules and the surface of the meteor. So you see the burning of the gaseous particles in glowing colour. You can read about Meteors, in my earlier blog “Geminids Meteor Shower: Relief to Mentally Retarded Children.

Most of the showers are named after the constellation they originate from; we call this as “radiant”. Leonids takes its names from Leo constellation, to which we can trace back its origin or radiant. Leonids Meteor Showers which we call “Leonids” for easy reference is divided into Major and Minor Showers. The Major one occurs during November whereas Five Minor ones occur during the period mid- January till end- April. In the case of Major Leonids we take the entire duration as having influence over you. In the case of Minor Leonids we consider only the peak dates as having impact on you.

2. Major Leonids

Major Leonids begin on November 14 and last till November 20. During this time the shooting stars move fast and stealthily, like a typical Lion. Striking at about 50 miles per hour speed these are more than bazooka fire. On average 100 meteors could be seen within an hour. This level rises to about 5000 meteors per hour when the Earth comes into the path of the comet 55P / Temple Tuttle which flies past the Sun in an orbit of 33 years. We had a great sighting in the years 1965&1966 thereafter 33 years later in 1998 & 1999. Incidentally the Major Leonids is connected with the Comet 55P / Temple Tuttle whose debris is transformed into the shooting stars. The Radiant of the Major Leonids is traced back to the space between two brilliant stars of the Leo constellation. These are: Algeiba & Al-Dhafera. The star Algeiba is from the Arabic name Al- Jabba (the Mane); it is a bright double star giving cosmic rays of orange and greenish yellow. It is located just below the star Al-Dhafera. The latter is from the Arabic name “Al-Thafera” (back of the Ear). This star, though less brilliant than Algeiba gives a bright hue of Yellow and white.

If you are born during November 14 to 20, you are really a Big Lion; brave in thoughts and in conduct; you will skim the social standards and lead by example; have the tenacity to weather any crisis to achieve your goal; go forward with inert wisdom; go out of the way to help others; Show patience and persistence; Always on the top the situation, you have quality of command & control. If you are male Lion then you may suffer from sex deficiency, if you are female Lion then you have hyper-sex. Fate may not be kind towards you; there is a sense of tragedy. But long after you are gone the world will remember you as a great person. Celebrities who have birthdates during this period include Prince Charles, Erwin Rommel, Lisa Bonet, Laura Wilkinson, Linda Evans, Larry King, Calvin Klein and Bo Derek.

3. Minor Leonids

I am describing five minor Leonids only

3.1 Alpha Leonids

This Leonids peaks between 24 to 31 January. Striking at a speed of 20 miles per hour and about 10 meteors per hour, Alpha Leonids cannot be dismissed that easily. It is because Alpha Leonids has its origin or radiant in space where the great star Regulus is located. Regulus is on the front right leg groin and is the brightest star in the Leo constellation. Regulus is of 1.35 magnitudes with a magnificent Bluish-white colour; It is approximately 3.4 times size of the Sun, 137 times luminous than the Sun. It is a multiple star with three companions giving orange, red and white colours. Read my blog post “Star Regulus Anarchy without Monarchy” for details about the star Regulus.

If you are born between 24 to 31 January, you saunter slowly but with a pounce of the Lion’s right paw. None can keep up to you, when you are provoked; otherwise you are soft and lazy. Your roar is greater than your posture. You will always over-act or over re-act. Nobody puts you in right place, that could be your un-doing. Finally when the end comes all what you have done simply fades into history. You can lead nations and organizations; in the home front you are not too happy. You have always two choices: to do or not to do. There is no middle course for you. Right action takes you to top, wrongs steps shove you to loss and sometimes ignominy. Famous people who have birthdays during Alpha Leonids include Franklin D Roosevelt, Vanessa Redgrave, Richard Cheney (ex VP), Robert Burns, Earnest Borgnine, Douglas MacArthur, Mozart, Arthur Rubenstein, Andrew Keegan, John Forsythe and Justin Timberlake.

3.2 Delta Leonids

This Meteor showers peaks on February 22. The speed of the meteor is 24 miles per hour but the number of meteors recorded is less than 5 per hour. It is indeed a muted Lion. Medium active Delta Leonids has its radiant to the star Zosma. The word Zosma is Persian meaning “Girdle”. It is also called as “Dhur” from the Arabic “Al-Thahr” “ on the Back”. Actually the star is located on the rump close to the tail of the Lion. A triple star of 2.6 magnitude, it gives out pale yellow, blue and violet cosmic colours.

If you are born on Feb 22 you will have a powerful and ambitious mind; authoritative in dealing; someone who has iron fist covered by velvet glove. You are a creator be in fine arts or in politics. Your Lion is always awake but does not roar. Stickler for punctuality and focussed on detail you achieve or make others achieve. Leading by sincerity, you will make the world proud of you. But there is a minus point; finance is always wanting. Famous people born on February 22 include George Washington, Rembrandt and Edward Kennedy.

3.3 Sigma Leonids

Though considered active Sigma Leonids has a striking speed less than 20 miles and about 2 to 3 meteors recorded per hour. Peak date is March 25. Its radiant is traced to the Star Shishi-mai, named in Japanese meaning “Lion dance”. A blue – white giant of 4.0 magnitude, the star is located on the knee of the hind right leg of the Lion.

If you are born on this date you are best in back-office manoeuvres rather than going to the front office in marketing etc. More of an operational men you will have equal measure of fame and blame. In good times you are up and in bad times you are down than the Johnsons. But you are a lovable character, seen in many parties and dinners. You can propose a toast and may be offer after dinner speech. Your speaking style is unique. Entertainment industry is the number one field for you. You can also select utilities and services. Most chaotic event will be either your marriage or your divorce. Famous people who had this birth day include George Harrison and Tom Courtney.

3.4 Beta Leonids

Active meteor showers, Beta Leonids peak on 19 to 21 March. Its speed is less than 20 miles per hour but you can see more than 4 meteors per hour. Its radiant is traced to the star Denebola, 2nd brightest in the Leo constellation. Giving a cosmic light of blue to white rays this 2.1 magnitude star is located in the tail’s flourish of the Lion. Its Arabic name Al-Denab Al-Asad ( tail of the Lion), gives equal prominence to tail and the head.

If you are born on dates 19, 20 & 21 of March, you are personification of power & glory. You have the Midas touch. Everywhere you go you are welcome; dubbed indispensable; fixer of any issues. “Hey where is the guy, let him handle it” or “ I just can’t do without him” are credentials penned after you. You are seen all over, in clubs with beautiful women, in parks with a bat or ball. Physically fit and mentally alert you are the only Lion that goes through the life on an easy pace. You write history or someone writes about you. Famous people whose birthdays fall in these dates include Ursula Andres, Glen Close, B F Skinner, Nick Wheeler, Ronaldinho, and Timothy Dalton.

3.5 Rho Leonids

This meteor is most irregular in appearance. No concrete sightings or data available but peaks on 14 & 15 March. Its radiant is traced to the star known as “Shir”. It is a Persian word meaning Lion. A 3.8 magnitude blue-white super giant it is located in the front downside of the Lion.

If you are born on 14 or 15 March, you have a tendency to be an eccentric. Super intelligent but at the same time erratic you can make it or break it. Career and regular work may not appeal to you; you have to find your own song and the tune for the song as well; if you follow others you are finished; but if you try to lead then there will be calamity. Best is to mind your business and do something that pleases you. You should put aside conflicting opposites such as tradition versus modernity and carve your own niche in the market. Basically, you must have your own path. For all these roubles there is small mercy. Your marriage is a blessing. Famous people who had similar birthdays include Michael Caine, Albert Einstein, Andrew Jackson and Eva Longoria.

Gems for Premenstrual Syndrome

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

Majority of menstruating women do have some sort of premenstrual difficulties. As far as these do not affect and interfere with the normal life these can be taken as granted. But when such premenstrual syndrome (PMS), also known as Premenstrual Tension (PMT) affects and interferes in the normal life then it is necessary to take care. About 80% the menstruating women in the age group of 20 to 45 years have signs of PMS; some are affected lightly whereas many others have fairly difficult times. In this latter group the experience varies a lot. In some months PMS is easy going whereas in other months it becomes a major issue. Moreover, about 7 percent of the menstruating women suffer from a serious condition medically known as “Premenstrual Disphoric Disorder (PMDD)”, which needs specialized treatment and care.

To understand the subject of menstruation we need to study the beginning of the menstrual flow known as menarche, pre-menstrual syndrome, menstrual disorders and menopause. All these are invariably linked to lunation cycle. I have in a previous blog post explained menstrual disorders. In this blog post let me give you some ideas about the premenstrual syndrome; its nature, symptoms, causes and the treatment based on Cosmics and Gems and Crystals. A word of caution: cosmic treatment should be tweaked to individual circumstances for its effectiveness.

1. Premenstrual Syndrome

Basically, Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) is defined as “severe symptoms interfering with the normal course of life”. Though PMS is defined, neither its symptoms nor the causes are easily determined; this is due to a wide variety of symptoms and causes. PMS can be understood only if menstruating women keep a proper record. Therefore, they are well advised to record the date they begin to experience these symptoms and the day these symptoms disappear; the date menses begins and the day menses ends. Generally PMS disappear on the day the Menses begins.

Generally, on the 14th day after your period began, the ovary releases an egg; at this time the level of progesterone rises whereas the level of estrogen drops. Along with the level of estrogen, Serotonin a neurotransmitter released by the brain also drops. This triggers the condition of PMS. See my blog post “Gems and Cosmics for Menstrual Disorders“for the inter-play between these two hormones, that is, progesterone and estrogen.

Symptoms: The symptoms are broadly psychological and physical.

Psychology: Anxiety, anger, tension, depression, irritability, mood swings and emotions are the chief characteristics along with conditions such as insomnia, withdrawal from social and familial activities. Some women have craving for more food while others wish to fast.

Physical: Conditions include fatigue, head-ache, nausea, joint & muscle pain. Many women develop tender breasts and nipples; some have bloating abdomen accompanied with weight gain. Either constipation or diarrhoea affects few women resulting in missing meals or drinking too much of water. In rare cases there are abdominal cramps.

Causes: These are classifies into three types. Primary and secondary causes and the third one identified by me as “un-declared causes”.

Primary: Hormonal fluctuation along with low Serotonin level is the primary cause for PMS

Secondary: Family history, psychic condition, history of depression, stress, over- work, travelling, absence of vitamins and minerals, alcohol, high salt intake, carbonated or caffeinated beverages are chief items

Un-declared: Many women have underlying un-declared causes; chaotic family life, suppressed emotions, difficult relationships with opposite sex, un-satisfied sex life, absence of orgasm are prominent.

Premenstrual Disphoric Disorder (PMDD): This condition is of serious nature with physical disability coupled with anaemia and psychological issues such as severe form of depression, anxiety, high irritability and difficulties in focus or concentration. It is mainly caused by psychic conditions and sometimes by nervous issues

Your doctor will study the symptoms and causes and would prescribe the required medical treatment. Afterwards you can check with this blog post to find out the cosmic solution for PMS that incorporates Gems and Crystals and lifestyle changes

2. Gems & Crystals

Gems and Crystals are widely used to manage Premenstrual Syndrome. I am listing the Gems & Crystals on situational basis.

1. Balancing hormonal change: Moonstone blue

2. Calcium & magnesium deficiency: Diopside white or blue

3. Low Serotonin level: Pearl rose / white

4. Anaemia : Opal red

5. Inherited from mother: Pearl peach

6. Depression : Moonstone orange (as this is rare to find you can opt for Morganite which is a Beryl with manganese)

7. PMDD : Morganite along with Pearl pink

8. Salty condition leading to bloated stomach: Opal white ( anytime you feel uncomfortable drop this)

9. Same as above leading to kidney issue: Jadeite

10. Abdominal cramp: Cuprite

11. Abdominal pain: Opal jelly (clear or pale colour)

12. Head-ache & Nausea: Agate red/brown

13. Anxiety: Moonstone rainbow (multi colour)

14. Stress & over-work: Kunzite

15. Withdrawal from social & familial activities: Pearl lavender

16. Travelling related: Pearl purple

17. Regulating premenstrual cycle : Opal light ( blue colour)

18. Difficulty in relationship with opposite sex: Opal red/Pearl rose/Moonstone red

19. Deficiency in sexual happiness: Opal black ( caution : do not use for long time as it tends to decrease sex urge)

3. Cosmics

The cosmics recommended under postures, gestures, breathing, food, colour, aroma and sunlight in my blog post “Gems and Cosmics for Menstrual Disorders “apply here as well. Additional recommendations are given below:

Food: Since the level of Serotonin is the crucial aspect in premenstrual syndrome, any steep drop of this can affect you badly. Your body cannot convert directly Serotonin from what you eat; instead your body converts Serotonin from tryptophan, an amino acid. It is better for you to eat foods that have this amino acid. You can take almonds, sesame seed, pumpkin see, black gram, black walnuts, and black peas. Take more ginger, yams and soybean in your diet. Dill seeds soaked overnight in water can be had first thing in the morning

Application: Apply either primrose oil or sesame oil on your head and lower abdomen twice a day morning and evening.

Aroma: Make jasmine as your base aroma; you can use it as Spray or Attar upon your upper body area above navel and below neck; rose, lavender, lily or gardenia air-fresheners are also recommended

4. Cosmic Solution tweaked for you

As the above is general recommendation to be followed during PMS, it is necessary to tweak the recommendation to suit to individual circumstances because each person is born in a different lunation cycle with different cosmic equilibrium. To do so it is necessary to know your cosmic profile. Once a cosmic profile is available specific recommendation could be made available.

Black Colour: Good, Bad and Ugly

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

Black is a colour steeped in mystery and traditions; religions and cultures use this colour in abundance. Black is the beginning; everything starts with the colour black pervading. The creation itself starts with darkness and the God orders that “there shall be light, and light there was”. So runs the scriptures. Babies are born from mothers’ womb, once again from the world of darkness. After college education, the successful students file past in their convocations donning black cloaks. Marriage ceremony takes place often with the groom in formal dress mainly in black. When the end of life comes black pervades once again in its full and manifest strength. So the colour black is with us. But is it good, bad or ugly? I am describing in the blog post the general facts along with good, bad and ugly features of the black colour.

1. General Facts

Black colour actually means absence of any colour; in the Indian Vedic system black is considered to be in the colourless region.

1. It denote the cosmic night – what is un-seen, un-fathomed and un-known; it goes deep into infinity on the horizon and it goes deep underneath the earth where nobody has ever ventured

2. Two issues make black colour cosmically important. One, it is formless hence requires intervention of form from elsewhere; the other, it works within; it boils inside and needs another colour may be white or magenta or any other to brighten it up. This dependence made the colour be something feminine. From time immemorial women liked this colour. Today girls and ladies wear black colour (I am omitting the word clothes to keep it short and sweet) both as inner and outer garments

3. In the paint industry more than 50 % of the production consists of either black or white colour paints. Though black is considered to be a background colour for many activities, such as painting, drawing, acting, drama and so on, it is simply the fusion of three basic colours: Red, Blue and Yellow

4. Religious leaders selected black as their chosen colour; Jewish Rabbis began this tradition later followed in the Christian liturgy generously; the swirling movements of the dancing Sufi Dervesh ( Mendicants ) in their black coloured breast coats is too spectacular for you to watch

5. It is a colour of formal occasions; in the court rooms lawyers wear black cloak universally. In formal ceremonies majority of the men still wear black colour suits

6. The curative properties of black coloured gems and crystals such as black obsidian (apache tears) smoky quartz, black onyx, black tourmaline (schorl) black opals and black pearls are well known

7. Black colour is specially recommended for those born in the 21st lunar mansion of the City ( Arabic Manzil Al-Baldah ); those born in the lunar days of 8 , 17 and 26; those who have number combination where 8 is prominent; those whose names begin with H, F , P and S.

2. Good

There are several positive cosmics in black colour:

1. Most grounding colour, it makes you put your feet down and stand with strength and resoluteness; for a serious minded, conservative and conventional person black is “the colour”.

2. When wearing black you will feel that the ground energy begins to flow from your feet and move upward, energizing all your energy centres (Chakras). This happens via the spinal cord. This energy, feminine in nature meets up with white colour flowing downward from the head. The meeting place could be anywhere in the body frame

3. When you require a high degree of inner strength and focus, black is the colour that helps; you can concentrate and zoom in on a question, say a math or other issue

4. Black works in two ways depending on the person who wear; for some it attracts bad vibration (see under Bad); for some it repels black magic. You have heard about diamond cutting diamond; same thing prevails in black magic and spells. By wearing black you counter the effects of bad vibes. This is the reason why exorcists throughout the world use white garments with a black coat or cap

5. Black gives you security; women fearing the opposite sex often resort to black cloaks or over-alls to seek refuge. Inside such cloaks or over-alls they feel very secure, but when they are out these they are dead scared of men, a bitter psychological condition

6. Aristocracy and the wealthy wear black over-alls to project authority and awe; but generally remove the black over-alls as they enter their palaces to prevent any bad vibes streaming inside

7. Black gives you authority, power and prestige; it gives you composure, rest and a feeling of slow-tuning zing

8. Oh yes. Black is a definite plus for sex and sexuality; ladies wear black for style and elegance; that is what they say; in fact they do this for inciting sex in men

9. When females wear black it gives them a slim look but when men wear it they get an athletic look

10. Black mixes well with light colours and in such combination black enhances the brightness of the other colour

11. Inside house and rooms black dulls brightness but compensates by giving an ambience of rest, sobriety and silence

3. Bad

Inappropriate use of black colour gives the following negative cosmics:

1. The word black is often used with bad connotation; black denotes protest, rebel, and the dress code for the hangmen and the ones to be hanged

2. Black is symbolized with death, bereavement, shroud, sepulchre and mourning

3. Black instills the fear of the un-known; the dark side of anything; It resonates well with Evil and Lucifer

4. It also signifies something hidden but important, like black box in an aircraft

5. It gives the feeling of depression, anxiety, loneliness, sorrow; being negative, passive and inundated with lot of pessimism

6. You always get a feeling that you are in “a bind”; something that overlooking you like a CTV camera in a supermarket or something that does not make you move forward

7. It makes the wearer feel aloof, proud and prejudiced like a pea-cock in plumes

8. In the colour personality test developed by Dr. Max Luscher, black expresses the idea of nothingness, renunciation, surrender or relinquishment

9. Al-Biruni, the famous Arab astronomer dismissed black as the colour of Saturn and anything connected to this evil planet

10. For some, black attracts bad vibes; genies hang on to their black coats or cloaks and enter houses without the wearer’s knowledge. This is acute generally in the case of women wearing cloaks when they are menstruating.

11. In Eastern cultures seeing menstruating women first thing in the morning (called Mulichi in Tamil), is very bad omen. Besides, if the menstruating women wear black cloaks or over-alls it is double whammy

12. In Hindu tradition the goddess Kali (war) god Yama (death) are dressed in black

13. Black inside home would destroy positive vibration and make it a graveyard

4. Ugly

Over-use of black colour gives the following very negative cosmics:

1. Though black absorbs heat, like inside a black umbrella, it drains the cosmic energy coming from the sunlight; too much black cloaks and over-alls destroys the cosmic harmony of the entire world. Not only that, the over-use of black cloaks and over-alls deprives others who are in the vicinity of the black wearers, the benefit of enjoying cosmic rays.

2. The colour rays that pour down on the earth are for the benefit of the entire humanity. These rays nurture and nourish the earth and its atmosphere. When lots of people wear black cloaks or over-alls, the cosmic rays are blunted and sent back to the atmosphere. This phenomenon creates havoc in the atmosphere as piled up rays tend to break the ozone belt

3. Ozone belt is not only destroyed by the use of chemicals and gases but by the indiscriminate use of black colour. While attempts are being made to reduce the impact of chemicals and gases, sadly, no effort is being made to reduce the over-use of black

4. Black incites the dark and criminal quality of sub-conscious mind. When this happens the criminal element takes the upper hand and men and women are forced to engage in criminal activities to satisfy the dark desires that lie deep-seated in their minds

5. Black also intimidates the people who innocently witness too many people wearing black in their vicinity

6. Finally too much of black destroys the cosmic balance of the earth and its people, a danger that needs immediate attention by the human race.

Seven Stages of Sleep

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

You need sleep; it makes you relax; provides you rest; enables your body to produce and release hormones; repairs body-cells. After a good night’s sleep you awake in the morning as fresh as spring. In sleep you go through a number of stages. Nobody can get into bed and start sleeping soundly, immediately. You go through a cycle of sleep patterns which are called as stages of sleep. In this blog post I describe the Seven Stages of Sleep. First three stages involve body and mind. In the fourth stage the soul enters, but inactive. In the last three stages it is the soul that directs operations, pushing body and mind inactive.

A) Body & Mind

Psychologists have studied the process of sleep on the basis of the inter-play between body and mind. They negate a role for the soul. The stages of sleep with the inter-play of body and mind are described below:

1. Stage One: Light Sleep

This is the beginning where you lie down in the bed and attempt to catch-up sleep. The body slows down gradually; muscle activity is low except for occasional twitching. By this time you experience about 50 % reduction in body activity. Brain is active; it sends out theta waves with a speed of 4 to 7 cycles per second. Generally the stage lasts about 5 to 20 minutes from the time you get into the bed. You spend just about 5 % of the total sleep time in this stage.

2. Stage Two: Moderate Sleep

As you move to this stage your breathing pattern stabilizes; heart-rate slows. Muscle activity goes up and corresponds with the brain activity emanating both positive and negative waves. Still the brain sends out theta waves. Overall body temperature increases slightly and your body prepares itself for the next stage of deep sleep. You spend around 25 to 40 minutes in this stage. Overall about 50 % of your total sleep time is spent in this stage.

3. Stage Three: Deep Sleep

As you proceed to this stage your body has slowed down to its barest minimum, with very little muscle activity. Your breathing is fairly rhythmic. The brain sends out delta waves, very slow, from 1 to 4 cycles per second. You spend around 50 to 60 minutes in this stage before moving to the next. Overall, 15 to 20 % of your total sleep time is spent in this stage. Mild, moderate and deep sleep account for 80 to 120 minutes before you go to the stage of dream sleep. Most of the times you will go to and fro, between moderate and deep sleeps before you get into the dream sleep.

4. Stage Four: Dream Sleep

As the name says, this stage is where you start dreaming. You see visions like as if you are watching a cinema or TV show. As a result you have rapid eye movements, where eyes move left and right, up and down; hovering eyes as if you are travelling. Hence, this stage is known as “Rapid Eye Movement (REM) Sleep”. Except for your eyes most of your body is in paralysis. As you start dreaming, the brain releases an amino acid called Glycine that makes your muscles immobile. This is the nature’s way of safeguarding, otherwise while you dream you may tend to act out of it. For example, you dream raging fire in a nearby bush that gives you fright and you run for cover. Physically you can’t run out of the bed because your muscles are immobile, but in the dream you do that.

You will experience this paralysis particularly in the chin to neck area. However occasional twitching of muscle takes place in face, fingers and sometimes in the legs. Your heart-rate speeds up; brain waves speed up. The brain sends out alpha waves with a speed of 8 to 13 cycles per second. Incidentally, you experience alpha waves while you are awake and alert as well. Your body temperature is up. You spend around 10 to 60 minutes in dream stage. You see sequences of dream which last something like 5 to 20 minutes. The sequences vary in time length and in numbers. Overall you spend about 20 to 25 % of your total sleep time in dream sleep.

B)  Body, Mind and Soul

After the dream stage you will step down to deep, moderate and mild sleep and once again the cycle begins. So in sleeping you go through the stages in a number of cycles and wake up in the morning fresh. So far the stages relate to the inter-play between body and mind. At the Fourth stage, that is, Dream Sleep something remarkable happens. The soul enters the equation. If you size up with the soul you can go through the fifth, sixth and seventh stages. Otherwise you have to be satisfied with one to four stages only.

The abode of soul called “Lathifa Ruhi” in Arabic is on the right chest, from where it emits Cosmics in combination of colour rays including the ones in the rainbow. These cosmics are targeted on the abode of mind called “Lathifa Qalbi” on the left chest. These cosmics are in-visible. From the birth time till death a person receives trillions of cosmic colour darts from the soul.

When soul takes command, it departs from your body on journeys outward, temporarily ceasing the emitting of cosmics. Hence, the last three stages are called journeys; mild, moderate and deep journeys. Here the body is placed as if in a coma. Brain emits zero cycle delta waves, too slow to be reckoned with.

5. Stage Five: Mild Journey

In this stage Soul goes on journey in the known universe; it breaks the Time barrier. Soul can travel in timeless fashion in past or future. Soul can see, hear, touch, smell but cannot speak. Soul acts in passive manner, that is, it would not interfere in the activities of others. Furthermore, soul cannot move out of terrestrial (earth) boundary. This stage is similar to the meditation phase of “Shahood” ( Evidence) experienced by the Sufis.

6. Stage Six: Moderate Journey

In this stage the soul goes a step higher, breaking the Time and Space barriers. Soul can see, hear, touch, smell and speak, but cannot taste. Soul acts in positive manner, that is. It can intervene in the actions of others. For example, soul can arbitrate a settlement between two feuding brothers. Moreover, soul would travel in the celestial arena as well – bypassing stars, planets and other celestial bodies. This stage is similar to the meditation phase of “Fatah” ( Victory) experienced by the Sufis.

7. Stage Seven: Deep Journey

In this stage , soul goes much higher, breaking Time, Space and Being barriers. Soul can see, hear, touch, smell, speak and taste. Soul acts in inclusive manner, that is, soul can command as well as carry out tasks. For example, soul can order the angels to save astronauts from an exploding space station and goes to the scene to bail them out. This stage is similar to the meditation phase of “Fanaa” ( Extinction) experienced by the Sufis.

After the journeys are over, soul returns to the body; re-start emitting of cosmics in colour rays. At this moment the brain speeds up delta waves from zero to a positive integer per second. The record of the events in the journey is then implanted into the brain. It is something similar to the use of flash/pen drive for our external work and loading it to the base computer. Consequently, the mind can remember the journeys very well: angels singing, genies squirming and birds serenading.

Gems & Cosmics for Sleeping Disorders

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

Joe, 62 years old war veteran spend most of the night time rolling on the bed trying to get some sleep. When he wakes up in the morning he has slept just about one third of the time in the bed; he has insomnia. Helen 21 years reading for her bio-technology degree cannot sleep in the night but falls sleeping by 4.00 a.m. in the morning. As she has to go to college in the morning she interrupts her sleep consequently she dozes off while in class and falls in her grades; she has “delayed sleep phase syndrome” (DSPS). Tommy aged 42 a car salesman sleeps irregular hours and is suffering from sleep disruption. All of them have one thing in common: Sleeping Disorders. But none of them have taken medical advice let alone cosmic advice. In the long-run they would develop serious complications in health and life-style. In this blog post I describe sleep and sleeping disorders; I recommend the gems & crystals for the use of specific type of disorders and the Cosmics to go with, in general form. As usual any recommendation needs to be structured to individual circumstances which are ascertained after finding your cosmic profile.

1. Sleep & Sleeping Disorders

Every person requires good sleep; children sleep for 11 to 12 hours; teens need about 9 to 10 hours which they hardly get; adults require about 7 to 8 hours which they neglect. At sleep your systems in the body continue to function. It is something like a computer put on hibernation or stand-by mode. Your body works differently; while it slows metabolism, heart-beat and blood-pressure, it continues its function of producing & releasing hormones and replacing body cells. In the case of children and teens it makes them grow, while in the case of adults it strengthens their systems. When you do not get the necessary sleep this function is impaired. Not only that, you head for sleeping disorders. The sleeping disorders are broadly grouped under three categories. Insomnia, Hypersomnia and Disruptions.

2. Insomnia

It is defined as inability to fall sleep and while at sleep inability to maintain sleep for a reasonable time. Symptoms include, waking –up frequently, arising in early hours and no sleep thereafter, sleep not giving you feeling of freshness in the morning, feeling tired and exhausted, painful eyes, giddiness, head-ache, nervous break-down etc. Insomnia accounts for nearly 70 % of the sleeping disorders. The incidence is much pronounced in the case of seniors over 40 years of age and those who suffer from chronic ailments such arthritis and diabetes.

Fear, anxiety, stress, medication, excessive caffeine, pain are general causes for this condition. Life-style changes such as longer night-life, over-stimulation of mind by watching films and erotic scenes, physical exertion such as gym work or walking in the late evenings, taking after-noon siesta are specific causes for sleeping ailments. Special situations such as pregnancy, depression, chronic ailments also cause this malady.

The following Gems & Crystals are recommended for Insomnia:

2.1 General Insomnia

* Under the pillow: keep Clear quartz for adults and Amethyst for those under 21 years of age

* Wear as pendent or Ring: Sodalite (pure blue) or Zircon (blue or colourless)

2.2 Delayed Sleep Phased Syndrome (DSPS)

Affecting teenagers and adults alike, the syndrome makes you sleep best in the wee hours rather than in the night-fall, mainly due to the internal body clock working opposite to the external time piece on the wall.

* Wear Unakite as pendent when retiring to bed

* Wear Labradorite as pendent continually, but test after every 21 days to track down your sleep patterns. If you sleep more lay it off for few days and re-commence thereafter

2.3 Psychological issues

* Either use Green Jasper or Opalite Jasper (also known as ice-cream opal – with a combination of purple, lavender and white colours)

2.4 Physiological issues

* Either use Deep-Green malachite or Turquoise

2.5 Medical issues

Occurs when the body is no longer receptive to sedatives (sleeping pills) and stimulants

· Either Azurite or Lapis lazuli (also known as lazurite)

2.6 Nervous issues

* Either Smokey quartz or Hematite under the pillow

2.7 Due to spirits and genies

Cosmically negative vibrations are produced when you are under the spell of an evil spirit or genie

* Wear Hessonite, a brownish – orange garnet or Black obsidian

3. Hypersomnia

This arises when a person sleeps more than it is necessary. There are several types:

3.1 Sleep Apnea

A condition where the flow of air to the lungs via nose or throat is disturbed, usually triggering snore. At some point the breathing is halted with a sudden attempt made to revive breathing. Generally it affects seniors past 50 years of age. This would make them sleep more.

* Either use white Zircon or white Onyx

3.2 Restless Legs Syndrome

A neurological disorder triggering un-pleasant sensation in one or both legs with an urge to move legs while at sleep. Causes include nervousness, kidney problems, pregnancy, aging factor, deficiency of iron.

* Either use Chrysolite (yellowish peridot) or Sugilite

3.3 Narcolespy

This is a neurological disorder that prompts you to fall asleep suddenly in the day time. It affects students and seniors alike; it is due to the brain taking a rest something similar to heart-attack but with a benign motive, because you sleep for about 15 to 20 minutes at maximum. When this interrupts your work schedule or become malignant it needs attention.

* Verdalite ( Green tourmaline)

4. Disruptions

Basically disruptions occur when you cannot stick to a regular pattern in terms of duration as well as timing. Few of these are given under:

Irregular hours: Blue Chalcedony

Shift working: Green Amber

Excess travel: Rainbow (multi-coloured) or red (pinkish-brownish) Jasper

Short or long Sleeping: Rainbow (multi-coloured) or snowflake obsidian

Lack of dream-sleep: A condition where you have no “rapid eye movement (REM) sleep” that facilitates dreaming. When you get up in the morning you feel as if you have not slept at-all

* Use either Charoite (bright lavender or lilac purple with gray to black veining) or Mercasite

Sleep walking: This is in a class of its own being classified under several disorders including sleeping. Under this condition the person while at sleep is engaged in actions such as walking and talking as if in the wakeful state

* Use Blue lace agate or Honey Amber along with Snow quartz

5. Cosmics

5.1 Pyramid

Keep over the bed table a Rock Crystal Pyramid or a Howlite Pyramid as shown below; The rock Crystal shall be 60 mm height; in case of Howlite go for 2 inch by 2 inch bottom.

Crystal Pyramid

Howlite Pyramid

clip_image003

5.2. Postures

Yoga-asanas (postures) are very useful in tackling sleeping disorders. A general all-purpose asana is the Bala-asana ( child) which relaxes your muscle and brain simultaneously. On the other hand Shava-asana( corpse) is much suitable for insomnia, making your body motionless and mind relaxed. You must do this few minutes before the bed time; lie on the floor legs and hand straight; close your eyes; now start relaxing your legs first by directing negative energy away from it and come upward till you reach the head. At this moment you are in perfect balance with both positive and negative energy. Take care you do not fall asleep doing the asana. Once the asana is over retire to bed promptly.

Shirasa-asana (head) is good for hypersomnia but seniors might find it difficult to perform. If you can, do this in the morning only. I recommend Sarvanga-asana( shoulder) for both insomnia and disruptions. This asana would induce dream-sleep and make you fresh every morning.

5.3. Gesture

A special favourite is Gyaan Mudra ( gesture). Sit comfortably on the floor on Sukha-asana ((easy) or Ardha-Padma-asana (half-locust). Touch the tip of the index finger with the tip of the thumb of both hands and form a circle; keep the other three fingers straight pointing upward. Bring both hands perpendicular to your lungs so that right hand is opposite right lung and the left hand to left lung. Breathe normally; stay for 7 or 14 minutes as you please. Repeat daily both in the morning and just before the bed time.

Caution: you must do these Yoga- asanas only after training by a Yoga expert

5.4. Food

Eat food made out of whole wheat or grams; specially Green grams; Ghee; Green vegetables; Fruits with seeds; onions & garlic; milk and dairy products; Walnuts, Almonds & Oats; Peanuts & hazelnuts; peas & beans; sunflower and sesame seeds; asparagus; Avoid hot and spicy food; no alcohol; absolutely no meat products.

5.5. Colour

Selection of colour depends of each person and his moods and predominant element within him. Your bed–room shall be painted with a colour that is conducive for sleeping well. Generally, purple colour is recommended for sound and deep sleep resulting in what we call “REM sleep” where you tend to dream a lot. Sky-blue colour acts as calming and cooling agent whereas red stimulates by generating hot waves. Orange and sea-green are in the middle course. Seniors need light yellow more than other colours.

5.6 Bath

Depending on your nature and predominant element within you, you can take a cold or warm bath before the bed-time on alternate days. Use either of the combination below:

Combination one: few drops of Rose and Geranium oil

Combination two: few drops of Patchouli and Lemon oil

5.7. Aroma

I strongly suggest the use of aroma in your bed-room moments before you retire to bed. Use Air-freshener or Humidifier or Potpourri. The latter is made of glass; underneath you will find a place for a candle or electrical light. Pour water to the dish over Humidifier or Potpourri and heat it gradually. Thereafter, sprinkle the recommended aromatic oil

* For ladies: Lavender & Neroli on alternate nights

* For Men: Chamomile & lemongrass on alternate nights

5.8 General Tips

* Wear comfortable preferably cotton clothes

* Keep the bed room tidy, quiet, airy with appropriate temperature

* Listen to soft music and view natural scenery before sleep

* Take it easy

6 Cosmic Solution for you

The list of recommendation given above is of general nature to be followed by you. There are more than 100 sleeping disorders and all of these cannot be covered in the blog post. To suit to individual circumstances, and to focus on specific disorder it is necessary to provide tailor-made recommendations including measures and quantity, timing and stages along with other pointers, to enable you to get cure and cosmic harmony. For that your cosmic profile is a pre-condition. To prepare such a profile your time, date and place of birth along with your name and that of your mother are required.

Gems & Cosmics for Menstrual Disorders

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

Most women suffer silently from menstrual disorders in some stage of their lives. Beginning at the age of 12 to 13 when they are budding girls, the menstrual flow otherwise known as menses or period recurs almost monthly till they reach menopause generally after 45 years of age. Normally the menstrual cycle lasts 7 days: two days for the on-set, three days for the flow and two days to wrap-up. In many cultures this cycle is linked to the lunation cycle of the moon. The lucky women have a perfect cycle of 7 days with less pain, less bleeding and at the end of the cycle a feeling of rejuvenation, mirth and lot of zing. But that is only a dream for many. In most cases they have complications. When this happens they have menstrual disorders.

To understand the subject of menstruation we need to study the beginning of the menstrual flow known as menarche, lunation cycles, pre-menstrual syndrome and menopause. I shall explain these subjects in future blog posts. In this blog post let me give you some ideas about the menstrual disorders, cosmic solution for menstrual disorders using Gems & Crystals along with Yoga-asanas (postures), Mudra (Gesture) Pranayama (Breathing), Food, Colour, Aroma and Sunlight. However, the need to tweak such solution to individual circumstances cannot be over-emphasised.

1. Menstrual Disorders

Menstruation is the discharge of blood, fluid and mucus from the lining of mucus membrane of the uterus called as Endometrium. Typically, menstruation begins when two hormones in the body of women are at their lowest levels. These hormones are: estrogen and progesterone. Estrogen is the female sex hormone responsible for the development and maintenance of reproductive organs. Progesterone on the other hand, is a steroid involved in the menstruation cycle supporting pregnancy. Towards the end of menstruation cycle the ovaries produce more estrogen which is carried through the blood stream regulating the uterus to control the menstrual flow; still the level of progesterone should remain low. Typically the cycle of menstrual period is 28 days in keeping with the lunation cycle. However, cycles between 21 to 35 days are perfectly normal.

You are aware that Hypothalamus a part of the brain controls systems such as nervous system endocrine systems etc., in the body. Acting via the Pituitary gland which is located just at the bottom of it, Hypothalamus regulates activity such as growth, blood pressure and reproduction. Both Hypothalamus and Pituitary gland guide Thyroid gland located in the throat to regulate metabolism and organs connected with menstruation. So menstruation is the constant inter-play of the Hypothalamus and Pituitary & Thyroid glands and the ovaries. When this inter-play is interrupted or the menstrual flow is accompanied with excessive bleeding, pain and cramps it is called menstrual disorders. Medically it is caused either by an imbalance in the hormones, dysfunction of organs, anaemia, stress, infection or general disability.

Cosmically it is caused by the arrangement of the celestial bodies at the time of your birth. In eastern cultures the arrangement of celestial bodies at the time of menarche (first occurrence of menses in a girl) is also taken into count. In these cultures, the puberty is celebrated with the girl segregated for 7 days afterwards a celebration is made with incantation to the Moon. It is significant to note that incidence of menstrual disorders is less in eastern cultures compared to western culture. The inter-play of these vital organs and endocrine system in your body is invariably connected to the Moon and other Planets. The moon is responsible for Hypothalamus, Thyroid and the Ovaries whereas Pituitary gland is under the governance of Saturn. The planet Mars is responsible for blood – stream while Venus is boss of fluid and mucus. Let me give you few examples of the planetary arrangement:

Birth star

If your birth star is Alcyone (eta Tauri) or it is sighted by Mars you will have infection and fever during menstruation

If your birth star is Aldebaran (alpha Tauri) or it is sighted by Saturn you will have excessive bleeding during menses

If your birth star is Algol (beta Persei) or it is sighted by Venus you will have imbalance of hormones leading to havoc

Moon Mansions

If you are born in one of the following moon mansions, you will experience serious menstrual disorders

Al-Dhira (the forearm)

Al-Nathra (the gap)

Al-Tarf (the glance)

Moon days

If you are born in the lunar days of 1, 5, 8, 16, 24, & 28 you will be vulnerable to menstrual issues.

2. Gems & Crystals for Menstrual Disorders

After obtaining medical advice relating to your status and the cause, you can check with this page to find out the gems & crystals for menstrual disorders. The following are gems & crystals recommended for menstrual disorders of different types:

2.1 Amenorrhea

Relates to absence or delay in menstrual flow; if caused by:

Anaemia Red coral + Light opal

Ill-health Rhodonite (pink stone with black veins)

Suffering from Serious infection/ illness- Ametrine

2.2 Hypomenorrhea

Relates to scanty discharge; if caused by:

Anaemia – Red coral + Moon stone of pink tone

Ill-health – Magnetite

Suffering from Serious infection/ illness- Blue Chalcedony

2.3 Dysmenorrhoea

Relates to difficult and painful menses with symptoms including prostration, vomiting, and pain in the groins spreading to waist and/or thigh areas; if caused by:

Inflammation of internal organs Uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes – Rose tint pearl & Rose quartz or Chrysoprase

Nervous issues along with spasmodic pains – Tiger eye (select the stone that gives golden yellow reflection on brownish yellow ground)

2.4 Menorrhagia

Relates to excessive bleeding during the period with symptoms including head-ache, giddiness, anxiety, and pain in the calves. Menstrual flow begins with severe pain in the lower abdomen or back or hip or sometimes in all three places, leading to weak and anaemic condition; if caused by:

Imbalance in hormones – Chrysolite + Moonstone of green tone

Abnormal growth in internal organs – Brown agate + Bloodstone

General anaemia – Jasper + Petrified wood

2.5 Metrorragia

Relates to excessive bleeding accompanied with change in the menstrual cycle with symptoms as in the case of Menorrhagia with menstrual cramps. In addition to the gems & crystals recommended as above use either Chrysocolla or Serpentine in the waist or lower abdomen.

2.6 Oligomenorrhea

Relates to extended menstrual cycle. If this is just after 35 days it may not be a matter of concern; however occurrence after 42 to 84 days requires medical attention; if caused by thin-frame body or over-activeness such as gym work and sports, you can use Olivine as rings or bracelet

2.7 Polymenorrhea

Relates to a shortened menstrual cycle less than 21 days; if caused by heavy alcohol use, night activity or stress, use Pyrope ( red to brownish garnet ) in the right had as rings or bracelet

2.8 Leucorrhea

Relates to abnormal white discharge during menses with symptoms including pan in calves, lumbar region, nervousness, burning sensation, irritation and sometimes constipation or urinary problems, if cause by:

Infection with foul smelling discharge – Lapis lazuli or Aquamarine

Metabolic disorders – Imperial topaz or Amazonite

Hormonal disorders – Moon stone of blue tone

Inflammation of womb after child=birth – Pearl ( rose tint) + Quartz

Displacement of uterus – Orange tourmaline

Worm troubles – Rock crystal

3. Postures

Yoga-asanas (postures) are very useful in tackling menstrual disorders. These postures not only make the body control and bear pain but remove the ill-effects emanating from such disorders, thereby facilitating balanced and normal flow.

During Menses In addition to basic postures such as Tada-asana (mountain), Bala-asana (child), Shava-asana (corpse) attempt Naga- asana (cobra) and Padma-asana (lotus)

Before & after menses.-Hala-asana (plough), Dhanur-asana (bow) and Shalaba- asana (locust) along with boat, forward and backward bend.

4. Gesture

Either stand straight on Tada-asana (mountain) posture or sit on the floor on Padma-asana (lotus) posture and practise the mudra (gesture) known as Yoni Mudra. Form both hands into an almond shape by joining the thumbs that look upward and the rest of the fingers looking downwards. Do this mudra so that the centre of the almond is tallied with your navel. Do this for about seven minutes in the morning and evening during menses and few days before and after the menses. For your benefit I am showing a picture of the Yoni formation.

5. Breathing

You can practise Pranayama(breathing) by sitting on the floor on Sidha Yoni-asana and follow the 4-16-8-8 breathing technique. The procedure is very simple. Close your left nostril by your thumb finger; inhale via right nostril for a count of 4; hold the breath for a count of 16; now close your right nostril. Exhale via the left nostril for a count of 8; thereafter stay without inhaling for a count of 8. This is the first part of the cycle. The second part of the cycle is to alternate the nostril. Now it is the turn of inhaling via the left nostril and exhaling via the right nostril. Once this is done the full cycle is over. Repeat the full cycle for 7 to 14 times. When you start you may find it difficult to hold breath for a count of 16 or being breathless for a count of 8. So start low and build momentum gradually.

Caution: you must do these Yoga- asanas only after training by a Yoga expert

6. Food

Black olives & black caviar are the best food during menstruation. Go for seaweed and the jelly made out of it; dried figs and leaves of the rose plants have more cosmic resonance. Sesame, flax seed and olive oil are best used in cooking and olive oil for application as well. Eat more green vegetables, leafy vegetables and whole grains. Two to three spoons of Sugar cane syrup immediately after you experience a flow is a must. Milk and fruits have to form large part of the diet. Peaches, mandarins, purple colour grapes, bananas are excellent. Pomegranate seeds soaked in bee honey to be taken three times a day after meals. Avoid hot and spicy food; no alcohol; absolutely no meat products.

7. Colour

Medically orange will regulate the circulation of fluid and blood, and the best colour for menstruating women. Wear orange or light brown colour clothes; keep oranges in your bedroom or on the top of the bed. You can mix orange colour in tub with sprinkling of olive oil , drops of either Melissa or Saffron oil and immerse or wash yourself. Orange colour not only rejuvenates you but removes irritation , sense of anger and anxiety; it also makes your sex organs to respond well to medical care and cosmic solution; it gives you confidence, joy and a feeling of belonging. Orange colour works in two ways: one as depression buster , the other as a feeling of elation, you require both very badly in times of menstrual disorders. You know that orange colour is a mixture of red & yellow; red symbolizes personality and yellow represents wisdom. After using the colour orange you will sense a transformation within you.

8. Aroma

I strongly suggest the use of Sandalwood and Saffron on 50:50 bases. You can either use natural perfumery or in the eastern world the Attars. Use the mixture continually during the entire cycle in the morning and just before bed time.

9 Sunlight

Except in cases of Menorrhagia or Metrorragia, take a brisk walk of 14 to 21 minutes in the morning sunlight before or after Yoga-asana work-out.

10 Cosmic Solution tweaked for you

As the above is general recommendation to be followed by menstruating women, it is necessary to tweak the recommendation to suit to individual circumstances because each person is born in a different lunation cycle with different cosmic equilibrium. To do so it is necessary to prepare a cosmic profile. To prepare such profile your time, date and place of birth along with your name and that of your mother are required. Once a cosmic profile is done specific recommendation along with other cosmics such as numbers, symbols,

Gems and Cosmics for Osteoarthritis

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

Osteoarthritis is one of about 100 arthritic disorders affecting so many people around the globe. It is estimated that out of about 100 million sufferers globally, nearly 25 million are living in the United States alone. So far no wonder drug is found for this disability. Medical treatment is anchored upon the concept of pain management. Yet there is no understanding of the role of Cosmics neither in the minds of sufferers nor in the annals of medical research. Surely, for osteoarthritis cure from gems and cosmics is readily available. In this blog post, I describe osteoarthritis, a cosmic solution for it and the need to tailor-make such solution to individual circumstances.

1. Osteoarthritis

Commonly known as “ Degenerative Arthritis “ Osteoarthritis (OA) is a result of series of action taking place around your joints beginning with the degeneration of cartilage, enlargement of the bone, inflammation of muscle, tearing of ligaments , altering of fluid –producing membrane called “ Synovial” and finally ending in the collapsing of the cover or capsule of the joint. Cartilage is a natural, wondrous and elastic substance for the covering and protecting of the end of joints. It acts like grease and shock-absorber put together in the case of motor vehicle. Once the degeneration takes place, the substance becomes lighter and thinner leading to the train of events that are described above.

The rate of cartilage degeneration depends on several factors such as age, gender, heredity, obesity and extreme cold or hot condition. Recently it was found that excessive use of a joint also causes the loss of cartilage steeply. Cartilage is medically referred to as “Chondrocytes”.

There are several symptoms: Prime amongst these is the un-bearable pain, combined with stiffness of the joints. Others include inflammation of the joints, muscle spasm, contraction in the tendons and deformation of the affected area. Some of the areas affected include hands, knee, hips and spine.

Pain management is the focus of treatment with pain-killers and supplements that enhance production of chondrocytes. Supplements include Glucosamine, Chondroitin sulphate and Vitamins C D and E. Depending on the sufferer, pain – management can take place in the following manner:

1. Use of pain-killers. However, continuous use interferes with the body’s natural ability to bear pain and transmit via the nerves

2. Tolerate pain. Sufferers are trained to bear with the pain. However, un-bearable pain can lead to mental strain and traumatic condition. Exercise and rest go with this treatment

3. Comprehensive treatment. In this case treatment would include mixture of pain killers and toleration of pains along with cosmic solution.

2. Cosmic Solution

2.1 Gems & Crystals

The following gems & crystals are recommended for relief from Osteoarthritis:

· General Osteoarthritis (OA) – Choose either of Green Calcite or Tsavarite (Green garnet) or Chrome tourmaline or Jade as base treatment. For specific issues use an additional gem & crystal recommended below:

· OA Non – inflammatory – Cornelian

· OA- Inflammatory joints – Malachite

· Female sufferers – Chrysocolla

· Male sufferers – Amber

· OA with Joint pains – Yellow topaz

· OA with listlessness – Turquoise

· OA with sleeping disorders – Amethyst

· OA with Anaemia – Coral

· OA with nervousness – Blue sapphire

· OA with enlarged bone – Orange calcite or yellow apatite

· OA with obesity – Black onyx

· OA with Trauma – Green aventurine

· OA with blood issues – Magnetic hematite

· OA with stiff joints – Yellow or golden calcite

· OA with weight loss – Ruby or Rubellite

· OA & old age – Charoite

· OA in Advanced stage – Black Tourmaline

2.2 Metals

Metals can be used independently or as along with gems & crystals as outer or holder. I recommend copper with zinc alloy or platinum with chromium alloy.

2.3. Colour

Wear green or light green colour clothes; paint your bed room in emerald or turquoise green depending on the severity of osteoarthritis. Most occultists would recommend green colour for any type of chronic ailments in general. For those who suffer from osteoarthritis the colour green acts in number of ways; it modifies, rejuvenates and soothes your nerves and blood stream; it heals internal wounds and any tearing or laceration; it also regenerates the chondrocytes; it energizes both bone and muscle together. While emerald green makes your skin softer turquoise makes the skin stiffer. That is why I recommended either of the colours to be used for painting your bedroom.

2.4. Sunlight

Expose yourself to the orange sunlight at sun-down for 4 to 5 days. In case your skin is much softer with wrinkles then do the rounds for 3 days maximum per week.

2.5. Food

If you can afford, try to relish yourself on Seashells, which is a natural source of glucosamine. Much of the sea-food does well for you. In case of skin irritations avoid lobsters and prawns. Fish-oil is better for you. Omega fish oil is good for those who are fairly young. Sea weed jelly is highly recommended. Eat more green vegetables, leafy vegetables and lot of spinach, avocado and cucumber. A special item is “ladies finger” a vegetable in the tropics, which however would increase cold. Meat products are taboo. Whole grain and partially ripe green fruits are excellent. There is one in coastal areas in Asia called “Palmyra fruit”. Their inner part (known as Nungu in Tamil) is a panacea.

2.6. Water Therapy

Depending on your body frame you could be affected by either extreme cold or hot condition. Analyse yourself and after finding your status take a cotton cloth soak it in either cold or hot water mixed with few drops of Eucalyptus oil and daub on the affected area in the afternoon before sun-down or minutes after that. You can do this on alternate days.

3 Cosmic Solution tailor-made for you

The above is a list of general recommendation to be followed by sufferers of osteoarthritis. Each sufferer is a unique person and requires cosmic solution tailor-made for him. A specific cosmic solution requires prior examination of your cosmic profile. Once that is done, specific recommendations along with aspects such as numbers, symbols, aroma, incantation of words, direction, behavioural modification etc., are given. Your cosmic profile is prepared only after evaluating the time, date and place of your birth along with your name and that of your mother.
