Gems for Pregnancy

Gems are used for general management of pregnancy; the following Gems and Crystals are recommended:

Yellow Gems generally assist in the child bearing phase. Yellow Sapphire (crystallized alumina) tops the list. However, the price of Yellow being exorbitant, substitutes are also recommended. Topaz ( aluminium fluorosilicate) or Citrine (silicon dioxide) or Heliodor (beryllium aluminium silicate) could be used. Whereas Yellow and Topaz could be worn as rings, Citrine and Heliodor are better used in throat chain. Those who feel negative vibration when using pure yellow colour gems should opt for Pearls (calcium carbonate). White to yellow lustre pearls in a set of 1, 3 or 5 could be worn as necklace.

If the expecting mother is weak, then she should use Rose Quartz (silicon dioxide) along with either of Hematite ( iron oxide ) or Carnelian (silicon dioxide) . All these crystals would give the necessary energy and courage to go through the pregnancy. These are better worn as pendants , bracelets or if necessary as waist chains.

In case the expecting mother experience heightened pains and other difficulties in connection with the pregnancy, she must use Moldavite (silica based Tektite) along with Malachite (copper carbonate hydroxide) in the early phase of pregnancy. Otherwise, she can use these crystals towards advanced phase of pregnancy. Both these crystals are energy givers and pain relievers. Moldavite is dubbed as “ energy bunny” as this crystal gives power not only to the wearer but to other crystals she wear that are not exposed to sunlight. Please note that all crystals need re-charging like batteries and the charging is generally by sunlight. Malachite is dubbed as “ Midwife’s Stone “ for its curative capacity. It nurtures the baby in the mother’s womb and assist in her labour.

The last one in the list is the emergency stone of Lapis Lazuli (microcrystalline rock consisting of an array of minerals Lazurite, Hauynite, Sodalite, Noselite, Calcite and Pyrite) . This sub-stone (Uparatne) was called as Larvat and one of the 24 stones mentioned in Hindu Puranas. This stone alleviates unbearable pain at the time of labour, before and after delivery of baby. Keep Lapis as a touch stone or wrap it in a soft white cloth and tie it between breast and the stomach of the expecting mother. For better results charge Lapis exposing it to sunlight moderately.
